Mine has been unplugged indefinitely anyway no way of playing unless I want to spend less time with the family, so its been bricked for a while as even with portal and fiber broadband its still to temperamental when others members of the family are streaming something. Shame I was enjoying 007 when the wife went to her parents villa at beginning of the summer hols with the kids.

@DartLOD Why? Most people have other ways of playing games. I haven't even turned on my PS5 for a few months with a family its difficult to hog the TV. I use a the portal occasionally but even with fiber broadband it can be temperamental when other people in the house are streaming. Been using my switch 2 so mines now turned off

@hypnotoad elegantly put, move with the times and at 46 in 2028 ill play my ps5 till it dies and move on to helix if it has steam or back to PC gaming over 30 year with PlayStation on and off with no reason to continue.

@twitchtvpat A small minority probably did thats because they stayed hidden inside like obedient puppies and needed something to fill the hours

@Imaculado_Lord 99 percent of the public probably don't even play PlayStation a small minority in reality. Its definitely my last PlayStation generation

@Kakun I had a ps1, then moved to xbox then 360 and x box one, I bought a ps4 very late in the cycle and picked up a ps5 in the first few months. I have no problem going back to xbox if they sort the store front, exclusive games that I want to play and steam is available as well. Sony has trashed their reason for playing, great single player adventures. If fable wasn't on ps5 I think I would pick up an X

@BloodyBlact If people don't want to buy because of the push for digital good for them. As for the future the data centres alone are causing more destruction to the bioshpere than a little plastic disc. look at the dried up rivers around the world look at the massive energy costs. 'The man made climate' nonsense only matters when your the culprit

@Balaam_ Thanks for the clarification. I felt lucky to get a PS5 in the first release month and still love playing it, but I don't think I'll be jumping in the wagon so quickly with PS6. I hope once crimson desert is shown running on the base PS5 I won't be to disappoint with how it runs and looks.

As a original ps5 owner, with no intention of ever buying a pro, has it been forgotten about? Is there nothing Sony can do to improve the standard ps5 performance? Or would that just piss off pro buyers? Not trying to antagonise just would like to know why these types of updates are only for the pro. Why cant Sony put some time and effort in to improving the standard PS5 quality and help the majority of owners.

@Titntin No i don't read most of the articles, i have no interest in Pro articles as I play on a portal. I have no interest in developers telling me about there views on game lengths. No interest in price drops on tech i already own. No interest in whos been cast in a tv show. Just interested in new games not rehashed visuals on old games. I gave my opinion and its just as valid as yours, enjoy your evening

No need for the pro in my house. We have a lg g4 65 in the lounge the wife and kids tend to watch movies on that 24/7. Portal for me and I guess pro would be pretty redundant while using that to game on

@CrashBandicoat Yeah let's all stay in our house while we are at it, eat crickets and download games from massive mainframes that use a continents worth or power. I'll stick with carts, discs and steaks thanks
