It's 7:56 Tehran time here. Have not yet been able to download dirt 5. On my PS5, the 'Explore' tile shows the new games whereas the 'PlayStation Plus' tile shows the old games. Any idea when I can expect to receive the new ones?

@SeverinMadara You are right. But, some devs have already confirmed that the addition of a fast SSD to an RDNA2 GPU has resulted in huge visual improvements on PS5.

Yes, MS calls its impulse triggers haptics but they are incomparable to Dualsense's haptics.
The Dualsense uses voice coil actuators and not just smaller rumble motors found in LT and RT on XBone controllers.

PS5 digital edition is still a better option should it be released @ $399.
Why?
Because:
Faster SSD (5.5gb vs. 2.4gb)
More storage (825gb vs. 512gb)
Better GPU (10.3tf vs. 4tf)
Better audio (Tempest engine vs. .... )
Better controller (gyro, embedded battery, touch pad, mic, speaker, haptics, adaptive triggers vs. NOTHING)
Better 1st party games

@MarcG420 Many launch ps4s had power supply issues. Google "launch ps4 blue light of death".

If God wills, I'm getting it next year for 3 reasons.
1- I want to see how it stacks up against the XSX.
2- Launch-day PS4s were problematic, I'll have to wait until probable problems of the PS5 are fixed.
3- The middle part of the PS5 is prone to scratches just like the 1116 series PS4s' faceplates. Have to wait until they release a 1216 PS5 😜

@Octane The systems aren't out yet, but there are videos on YouTube that easily show the loading times difference.

@Octane Dude, I do not totally disagree with you, but games take up to 10 seconds to load on the XSX, it's not just a 0.2s difference. As I once said, check the loading screens on Xbox YouTube channel.
About the games, look at Epic Games for example. Look how they are praising the PS5's I/O architecture. I'm positive they will cooperate with Sony to make an exclusive for the PS5. But time will tell.

@Octane Also, just go to YouTube and watch the loading times on the XSX and compare them to those of the PS5. The PS5 SSD is absolutely phenomenal. Sony will again win in terms of exclusives and this time, huge thanks to its SSD.

@Octane But THERE WILL BE games that can run only on the PS5 due to its SSD. Just look at Rachet and Clank for God's sake.

My best guess on the next Uncharted game story: Elena leaves the house and tells Nate that she's going on a vacation with their daughter. They end up in another treasure-hunting adventure and Shoreline mercenaries will take them hostage. They call Nate and he sets off for a new adventure to save his family.

We want all the RAM for the GPU, please sony don't make Microsoft's mistake

The best thing to do is buying the original console a few months after launch, then selling it just when you're hearing news that tells you a mid-gen console is on its way.
If you sell your original console just BEFORE the mid-gen one is out, you're not going to lose a lot of money.
Hence, you can enjoy 6-7 years of playing on a newer generation console.

@Tacktful They have already promised a quieter console. Also the bulkier form factor of the PS5 points out to a more effective embedded cooling system.

I personally do not think that there will be any dramatic "hardware advantage" over the PS5.
According to Cerny's presentation, PS5 will have MOST OF its RAM dedicated to the GPU. More dedicated video memory means more rendering. XSX only has 10GBs of dedicated VRAM.

• XSX has many disadvantages compared to the PS5; weaker SSD, no good features on the controller, less impressive games, not featuring hardware-accelerated 3D audio, and etc...
