After being formally announced almost two years ago at E3 2019, Bandai Namco has finally confirmed Tales of Arise will be released for both PlayStation 5 and PS4 on 10th September 2021. The former hadn't been announced before today, so it's nice to know that PS5 owners are being treated to a native version. You can get a brand new look at Tales of Arise in the trailer above.

It's all in Japanese so we couldn't tell you what's going or what any of the characters are saying, but the footage does prove that the new, gorgeous art style has been retained for the final version. PS5 users will be treated to two different modes: Performance Mode takes advantage of 60 frames-per-second while Graphic Priority Mode is all about that sweet 4K resolution. Load times will also be much faster on PS5.

A Famitsu article confirms that the anime cutscenes will be produced by ufotable, which has previously worked on God Eater and Demon Slayer. Finally, if you want to see even more Tales of Arise, here's seven minutes of gameplay, which shows off the new combat system in detail. Are you looking forward to this one?
