As Jane Austen famously stated in Pride and Prejudice, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a trailer for a survival horror game is made much more terrifying when it has Debussy's Clair de Lune playing in the background. Unfortunately, the creators of The Evil Within's latest offering forgot the second half of that popular quote, which reminds us that a goofy voiceover will always ruin this haunting mood.
Nonsensical narration notwithstanding, this new clip for Tango Gameworks' inaugural outing shows off a bevy of gruesome new footage. We're certain that the video is attempting to clue us in on the game's story, but we were entirely too busy trembling in fear to notice anything particularly noteworthy.

This is one game I'm going to wait for reviews on. Previews haven't been stellar but the game seems intriguing none the less.

I was excited for this, that trailer though was rubbish. Not a day one but I'll definitely play it. Looks a lot like a ps3 game :/

Yea this is one of those PS3 games with a extra bit of sheen on it for the PS4. Thankfully, I still have my PS3 so I may just get it for that, if it's cheaper & if the game is any good.
I am very intetested in this game, but will wait for reviews.

Shinji Mikami.....survival Horror.....his last game was Resi 4, one of the greatest of all time......there is no such thing as The Evil Within failing.
My most wanted game for this year.
This just looks like the same old boring tried and tested survival horror from back in the day. I doubt this will have the fear factor that these games once had. The last good game from this genre was Dead Space 1 imo. I hope this turns out to be a good game but there is something about it that makes me think it won't.
Looks scary, and I may get it, but I doubt the PS4 version is going to look that much different to the PS3 version.

But apart from that, something about it just looks 'off' to me; can't quite put my finger on it. I usually love survival horror games, but this - for some reason - hasn't got my interest at all.
