Mafia: The Old Country: How to Free Roam

Are you getting frustrated with Mafia: The Old Country's reluctance to let you explore? For as entertaining as Enzo's story is, it's not fun seeing a 'Mission Failed' screen each time you stray from your objective marker. Fortunately, there is a way to free roam, and as part of our Mafia: The Old Country guide we're going to show you how.

How Do You Free Roam in Mafia: The Old Country?

While the game doesn't explain it especially well, you can free roam in Mafia: The Old Country by selecting Chapter Replay > Explore from the main menu.

This will load you into the world, allowing you to search for Newspapers, Saints' Cards, Photographs, Mystery Foxes, and more.

Progressing through the story will unlock more fast travel points around the map, so it's worth seeing through the campaign first. But you can free roam at any point after Chapter 3 - Pizzu, so feel free to explore whenever you like.
