Spirit of a headless knight who leads the mausoleum soldiers. Wields a lance enrobed in Death and hurls spectral lances at foes. Lhutel sacrificed her life so that in Death she could continue to protect a soulless demigod until their revival, earning her the hero's honor of Erdtree Burial.

Lhutel the Headless is a powerful companion in battle, thanks to the fact that she will teleport around enemies and move quite quickly. Her lance is capable of causing instant death build-up against enemies, and she's got good defensive capabilities, too. She can take a lot of damage and is therefore good against bosses.

On the downside, you'll need 104 FP to summon her, which, depending on your build, might be out of reach unless you decide to focus lots of Runes on boosting your Mind level.

You'll need Ghost Glovewort to upgrade Lhutel the Headless. For more information, find out How to Help Roderika at Stormhill Shack and Upgrade Ashes through the link.

As soon as you enter the catacombs, you'll find the Tombsward Site of Grace. Activate this and then press onwards, down the stairs. You'll come to a Stonesword Key barrier, but ignore this and turn left. You'll be faced by some locked doors, but ignore these for now and head right.

The catacombs are populated by Skeleton enemies. These come back to life when you defeat them, so to totally get rid of them, you need to continue to attack their bones after they've been felled.

Run through the two rooms and then head to the left, where there's another corridor that leads to a passageway that is engulfed in flame for a few seconds. Wait for the flame to stop, then dash down the passage and duck into the alcove on the right (there's a Skeleton in here, so be ready for a fight).

Wait for the flames to stop again, and run down the rest of the passage. You'll see a column that is the source of the flames. Hit this with your weapon and it drops down to the ground. When it's all the way down, hit it again then quickly jump on top, and you'll be able to access the upper floor of the catacombs (there's a firebomb-throwing Skeleton here, so again, be careful).

Continue down the passage and you'll eventually see a golden statue at the end of a corridor. Next to this is the lever which opens the big locked door you saw earlier. Throw the switch then jump off the ledge – you're in the room close to the locked door.
