So the super-shills are getting excited at the prospect of console exclusivity again… oh the irony:

If Xbox wanted to do something impactful and please fans it would literally have to look like this...

Release a dirt cheap next gen/pc adjacent console, that is also far superior to PS5 Pro, in the window where Sony is not releasing their own new console.

Make 'their' games exclusive. (Survive the COD riots and lawsuits)

Make game pass cheap and massively stackable again.

Pay lots of money for top tier AAA game pass day one.

But looking at that (you know, Phil's dumba$$ tactics) is there potentially a way that this doesn't make MS lots and lots of money??? I can't quite work it out 💀

So yeah, is the exec there to make people happy, or to try and make MS money... if it's money then nothing that xbox gamers want to happen will happen, if anything, what they don't want to happen will happen (price hikes, less game pass games)

Honestly, they would have to be so aggressive to both win people around AND make money long term. And the plan would have to be get a massive install base and try to eliminate the competition completely. That is the MS way, and Phil already tried it, clearly 🤦‍♂️ this is what game pass was, this is what the acquisitions were intended to be initially, and it didn't work so they had to pivot. And no way MS is letting them have free reign like that again. If they somehow do, i'll buy if it is worth it to me...

But for now i'm thinking PSSR update soon, and the only Xbox game I want is Fable. So f*** 'em 😂

Feelings and thoughts?

Well I never thought I'd say this after last year's price increase, but I just bought a month of Game Pass Ultimate. €21 is at least more reasonable than €28.

There are so many games that have been added to the service since last year. I just downloaded Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), 1000xRESIST, MIO: Memories in Orbit, Keeper, Planet of Lana, Routine, Replaced, The Walking Dead: The Final Season and Lost Records.

I'm going to be checking out CoD first as it's been such a long time since I've played one. After that, I want to check out 1000xRESIST and Keeper. I realised that I haven't downloaded many AAA experiences, so I might check out something like Avowed or DOOM: The Dark Ages.

I'm mostly excited for Forza Horizon 6 though. May can't come soon enough!
