@colonelkilgore You can knock this off now. Reading the past few pages, you're specifically targeting another user and that's not acceptable. If they've blocked you, move on. You also don't seem to have much interest in talking about Xbox in this thread — rather just repeatedly stating you're not interested in Game Pass. That's okay, but do you really need to come in here and stink up the thread for people who do want to discuss the platform?
Any more and you will be subject to further moderation.
Wow, is this the Xbox Thread or the Xbox Worship Thread?!
I go on Pure Xbox from time to time, trust me they can say whatever the hell they want about PlayStation and PushSquare and Sony 'fanboys' in general (within reason of course) without risk of comments being removed.
Game Pass is a good deal on paper but I reckon most of the games available wouldn't be my cup of tea. It will also one day massively increase in price, perhaps yo the point where one may end up paying more than they would if they just bought the occasional new game and others when on sale.
I'm keen on finding out what Sony's plans are for their own revised subscription plans, doubt it will be exactly the same of course but if it were to add more games to the Plus Collection that would do for me.
@colonelkilgore I just find it all to be rather bizarre. It's become almost 'political' now, beyond even good old fashioned console wars.
Maybe it would be a good thing if Game Pass did end up on PS, I reckon quite a few would get something out of it and a lot would be like 'meh, not sure what all the fuss is about'.
The only known games they have that I'm bothered about are Starfield and TES 6 and I sincerely doubt the former will be out this year and the latter will be 2025 at the earliest. I think I'll get by with my PS5 until then.
😉
Also, yeah, some posters seem like they're working for Xbox not playing on one.
@RogerRoger Xbox is having a sale on classic Lego games on the 360 (as well as other titles) and as our resident Lego expert, I wanted to ask you if it's worth getting: Lego Indiana Jones 1 and 2 (€5 and €2.5 respectively), Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (€2.5) and Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga (€5).
I know the Skywalker Saga is coming out soon, but are the levels in that game taken straight from The Complete Saga? Or are they completely new levels? If it's the latter, wouldn't it still be worth it to play The Complete Saga?
I'm also interested in getting some other titles, such as Split/Second (€2.5) and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (€4). Any thoughts on those? If other people have played these, feel free to chime in as well!
@LtSarge The Complete Saga is probably still the best classic Lego game. The new one’s a modern open world take on the franchise. I’d say go for it but it depends if you’re going to get Skywalker Saga on release or wait.
@nessisonett I don't really find Lego games worth getting on day one, so that's going to be a no. But if Skywalker Saga is an open world game, then The Complete Saga honestly sounds more compelling to me.
@RogerRoger A quick check proves that yes, I do own Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. I remember very very little of it! But then I barely remember the Lord of the Rings one either, my younger brother played it to completion without me, despite us having played Fellowship of the Ring together 😂
