One of the sequels I was most hoping would happen on the system.
Even knowing Ubisoft's pricing shenanigans, I'll still get this day one. I absolutely love the original game. It was like XCOM, but with better map design and gameplay.
All I need from them now is a new 2D Rayman and I'm set for the generation (from them).
@nessisonett Really glad I'm paranoid about updating my consoles, lol.
I have to imagine Nintendo will address this soon. Especially with a big sale happening on the eshop next week.
@nessisonett When your console is so stable that it loops around and becomes totally unstable. Nintendo went past the stability threshold and upset the order of the universe.
Currently Playing: Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition
Danganronpa 1-2 Reload
Nonary Games - 999, Virtue's Last Reward, Zero Time Dilemma
Steins;Gate Elite
Ace Attorney Trilogy
13 Sentinels (if you count it as a visual novel)
An hour and a half until the Direct. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!
@Kidfried You haven't played the first three Ace Attorney games? Play those. They're absolute classics of the adventure game genre. Particularly the third game, which does an amazing job of wrapping up the trilogy and features the best villain in the series.
Metroid Dread looks good, but I'll admit that I don't know if it's something I can swallow at full price knowing that Prime 4 will be the exact same price.
Metroid Dread looks excellent, and I'm genuinely surprised to see another 2D entry. Who know's what's up with Prime 4, but I prefer the 2D ones anyway. Really looking forward to playing it!
SMT V will be another must-buy, but man did that voice over grate. It's hard to get excited about BotW2, because that trailer told us absolutely nothing.
A lot of good stuff to be honest. BOTW2 was legit a massive let down trailer but that’s ok, we got plenty surprises elsewhere. RIP MP4 and Bayo 3, hello Advance Wars, Super Monkey Ball and Metroid Dread!
@Octane Metroid Dread is technically not a new game I guess due to already having been in development for 15 years! You’re right though, Mario Party, Advance Wars and Super Monkey Ball are all semi or full remakes. So I guess an argument could be made that there weren’t that many new games, despite them mostly being things that I’m interested in.
That was quite a strong direct. The biggest things for me was the Super Monkey Ball collection, SMT V gameplay, and Danganronpa's new board game side-game.
Easily the best E3 presentation. Metroid Dread alone stole E3 for me but SMT V had no right looking as good as it did. Honestly visually looks cooler than P5 did for me
