@KratosMD I couldn't wait that long to play those games, but everything else can wait. I realise Cyberpunk will be out quite close to PS5, but I'm most likely not getting it at launch. You also have a lot less interest in something like TLOU2 than I do, so for you it would be ok to wait. And why would they need to re-release it all, it should be playable through backwards compatibility?

@KratosMD Yeah I get that but sometimes certain games come along that you just can't wait that long to play them. For example say it was Persona 6, the next Trails of the Cold Steel game and Hollow Knight 2, would you still be willing to wait another 12 months to play them?

@KratosMD Yeah I get where you are coming from with the future content, but as far as I know that does not apply to the 3 games I'm interested in. And I don't recall a situation when that has happened much either. Maybe stuff like a soundtrack or a making of documentary, but nothing actually cut from the game or anything substantial.

And yeah I got games to play from my backlog too, which I am playing. But that was not my original point, just any game I see announced for PS4 just doesn't excite me anymore, apart from the three i mentioned.

We might have stopped the political chat here but I just thought the message I saw today in MLB The Show 20 was one of the best responses I’ve seen at least in this industry. Using Stroman’s quote was a nice touch and it would be good to see more players being rotated, kids seeing their idols speaking up about this stuff goes a long way.

@nessisonett Yeah a similar message comes up when you start Fifa 20. No profound quote though, so MLB 'wins' in this instance.

I can confirm that yeah, the MLB quotes are changing each day. What a nice touch, hearing real life players’ own experiences with racism. Hopefully being on the title screen, people will read.

According to Digital Foundry, The Last of Us 2 runs at solid 30fps... on the OG PS4, while there are some rare hiccups on the PS4 PRO.

@andreoni79 I've played plenty of games several days before they are released, you will be fine. I can remember playing Dark Souls 5 days before launch and none of the online functionality was there, so no floor messages or anything like that.

I have it downloaded ready to go, but still playing through the first one on Grounded difficulty. I reached the University last night, questionable if I finish it tonight in time to start playing part 2 on Friday!

@JohnnyShoulder It’s a shame but expectations are through the roof. They can’t afford to ship a buggy game.

@LN78 @nessisonett Totally! I feel it will be super criticised now if there are any bugs and glitches when it is released. That will be really close to the next consoles are released, for sure!

i always had doubt on the game being able to run on base current gen consoles without severe downgrades so maybe this delay is linked to that?

i'm not gonna make to far of a stretch but could this game become a next gen only game if they just can't have it run properly on current gen? (the game did always have a next gen feel to it anyway)
