@LobsterJohnson That’s definitely an option. I know @Ralizah played it recently and it didn’t seem to be too long.

@LobsterJohnson @nessisonett It's 3 hours or so, and without any obvious stopping points along the way.

Erica is in my backlog somewhere, so I'd join in if it featured in Game Club. As it's short, it could be a nice game to play after a long game.

Inside is another shorter experience, but not sure how many have not played it. It is also a bit bonkers so would be a good one to read people's thoughts as they play it.

@JohnnyShoulder That’s a good shout. I really enjoyed it and it would definitely make for interesting reading in the comments section. Tbh, I actually preferred Limbo myself.

@Tjuz oh yeah, I’m still here almost every day at least checking in, even if I don’t post or game every day. I go through spells of intense gaming and then several days of no game time. It all depends on real life happenings. Are you playing anything lately?

@Th3solution I think everyone goes through a gaming hiatus at some point. I had mine earlier in the year, now I’m back stronger than ever. I find it easier to play 2-5 hour games when you are ready to start again.

Has everyone finished bioshock now? I think this was the final week, shall we choose the next game?

@ralphdibny I think it’s just @crimsontadpoles who hasn’t beaten the game/said they have but there’s no rush! We at least knew we were playing Bioshock from the last thread but this next game will be open to votes. From the sounds of it, Erica seems to have garnered a bit of interest but if anyone has any other suggestions then please drop them in here!

What about Infamous First Light?

@LobsterJohnson Does it spoil any of Second Son? I haven’t played any Infamous game so I wouldn’t know.

I've got Rage 2, Hyper Light Drifter and Guacamelee 2 I'm looking to play.

FYI, you can do a run of Erica in about 3 hours. Infamous First Light, I seem to recall is just over double that.

@nessisonett I’m not sure if there are any heavy spoilers, but I do know it is supposed to be a prequel to second son. Game time is around 5-8 hours.

@ralphdibny @nessisonett I'm still playing Bioshock, currently by the end of the Hephaestus area. My pace has been a bit slow lately, as I've been getting distracted with other games and things.

Feel free to move on to a new game.

So perhaps we could do Erica first for a week and then Infamous for a couple of weeks? Would that work with people?

@nessisonett I played second son first and first light second, I can't really remember if there is any spoilers but I felt like I played them in the right order. I believe first light is a more of a fill in the gaps/backstory type game where you play as a really cool character that featured as an NPC in second son. I seem to remember the gameplay was bookended with scenes but I can't remember if they are set before, after or during second son. Both games are really good though, quite short and a really easy platinum. Not sure if much would be lost in playing first light before second son but I probably wouldn't do it personally.

That being said, I played them both last year so I probably won't join in if that gets chosen but I'm more than happy to sit it out so fill your boots! Maybe I'll play the original infamous instead to still be a part of it, as I bought both the originals after playing and loving SS/FL but I haven't got around to them yet!
