@nessisonett the country that creates it should get it first imo...not the country that created this strand of covid either, they should never get the option.
@Jimmy_VNC82 What if it was scientists from a third world country who developed the vaccine, would you say they should get it first? Also, I hope you're joking - who created it?

The Trump administration failed to even secure enough doses of the Pfizer vaccine, despite it being offered multiple times.
God, how incompetent can you get?
Anyway, pretty much the entire world is eager to get its hands on the vaccines. Americans don't somehow get priority treatment just because our country is full of morons who allowed it to spread as quickly as it possibly could.

It's not that serious...you will live and be just a ok if ya get it....most likely, youve already had a sickness in your lifetime worse than covid strand 19.
But ya know what really makes sense....locking down and shutting down restaurants but labeling the ABC stores and Walmart as essential....FFS.
@Jimmy_VNC82 well yeah, groceries are pretty essential.
Also the country who develops the vaccine first should get it but also Covid is not that serious and you shouldn't worry too much about a vaccine?

@Ralizah Yeah, there are these times when globally, capitalism doesn't necessarily favor the US and it's in those moments Americans tend to suddenly not like capitalism anymore. I always find it amusing.

oh Walmart for groceries...mine doesnt have a supermarket...sorry. food is essential, restaurants should be open. No argument. Designed to boost corporate and kill private.
No thats not it. I guess the massive thing I'm missing is why were terrified of 99.75% survival rate. if you want it go ahead and be first in line. Mail me mine like a write in ballot
@Jimmy_VNC82 If you can't write in complete sentences it's gonna be hard to have an actual conversation. I can hardly make out what you're even taking about.
Also, regarding mail in ballots: you mail them back to be verified and counted... how is that in anyway analogous to you being mailed a vaccine? Like seriously? And don't get me wrong, I understand people's concerns about mailed ballots but this vaccine example you have going doesn't track, like at all.

@zupertramp Once you make the argument personal, you show your emotions are tied to this and you cannot have "an actual conversation", but sure if a complete sentence makes your warmer.
The analogy is simple really, you just said it yourself but alas let me help you better understand; its mailed to me and I verify it was received and taken just like when election officials received duplicate mail in ballots, ballots from the dead etc. and assured there was no wrong doing, no voter fraud, no vaccine taking fraud will happen this way either.
