I saw this in my dream and game starts with Leon coming to save Grace from the hospital bed she is laying down and he uses his fists. There is counter too. Think of it more like Uncharted 3 intro.

First video on Friday 00.01: RE9, All OG characters assemble and defeating MrX&BakersFamily&Nemesis team.

I've just pre-ordered. Although I quite liked the Steelbook, the extra £15 for it along with a lot of digital stuff I probably won't use, didn't seem worth it. I've gone with The Game Collection and the default version comes with a lenticular sleeve which will match my RE3R, RE4R and Village copies. It also has an extra costume for Grace (apocalypse).
I find it odd that the Deluxe version only tells you one of the 5 costumes you get. If it's anything like the other games they will probably all be quite silly anyway.

I've kept playing RE6 but it is seriously one of the worst games I have played in a long time. I think I might just persevere to see all the campaigns to the end.

I was a bit sad when I saw Liam's review but then I looked other reviews and saw people have different opinions about pros and cons then I remembered again that maybe I'll like what Liam didn't or vice versa. I know it's really simple thinking but when you are waiting something to be GOTY material, 8/10 feel a bit dissapointing. Same happened with Spidey 2 back in the day.

But hey! Friday comes in and it's time to experience and form opinions. Another thing while saying "Action takes main place in the half point" has no problem I think talking about how it is Leon focused and Grace only shows up in cutscenes is too much detail for a spoiler-free review. I didn't want to know that for example.

@Scottyy It's got a 92 on Xbox 90 on SW2 and 91 (which was the score I predicted) on PC. Don't forget RE7, you know the game that saved the franchise got a 86 and is the second most sold game in RE. I haven't read a single word on Liam's review and plan not to until I finish the game myself. I can still see it being up for GOTY nomination.

You did good. I was supposed do the same... Anyway, still looking forward to it and the perspective you bring is not wrong too. Keep me updated. And if you are interested in the conversation MinnMax will do a Deepest Dive where they talk about a specific game in 1, 2 or 3 chapters up until some point in that game etc.

@Scottyy Well I have Friday and Monday booked off to play it and hopefully finished it by then, obviously will let others have more time to complete it before having massive in depth discussions, safe to say I can't wait to play it!

Mine has just popped through the letterbox. Installing now...

So, I'm not too far into the game but even on a base PS5 this is a looker. I can only imagine it on a PS5 Pro. Seems Capcom really has perfected this engine. Also have the Switch 2 version of the game which I'm interested to see how that compares when I get around to it.
