Topic: Resident Evil Requiem

@Oram77 I'm less inclined to think that is Racoon City due to what they did to it but I suppose with it being long after maybe 'New' Racoon City could have been built nearby. Regardless, it looks good and I'm curious as to how large the sections of the map will be (and this one specifically). I don't think open-world is the way to go but hubs larger than previous games could be interesting. Not long to find out.

@Oram77 I don't think that's Racoon City as am sure it's all levelled. Haven't you seen the other longer trailer where a certain major player returns that is the one that got me more excited. I guess the Grace parts of the story will be the survival horror element whereas ****'s will be more action based like RE4. I'd love it if the sharks and spiders returned from RE1 although thinking I'm dreaming a bit there.

@BearsEatBeets @Jammer I think you two are probably right, that this is not Racoon city, I was looking at the shops/signs and thought they are throw backs to RE2/RE3. I'm almost certain the game director has said there is no open world areas, which honestly is for the best, close in enviorments = scary. Either way I have complete faith that Capcom will smash the game out of the park, with only my personal concerns being
1) The length (anything between 12 - 16 hours would be perfect
2) Replayabilty (if it's anything like RE4R then I have nothing to worry about)

@Oram77 I think the length of Village would be good thing is I thought that was quite a long game or seemed to be. But just read online it should only take 12-14 hours to beat sure that is wrong unless I was going very slow on it. Also read spiders could return as they only ruled them out for RE2 & RE3 remakes due to time constraints. Holy Hell imagine the spiders with PS5 graphics some players may need man nappies!

@Oram77 Brown pants time! I just read earlier Requiem is going to return to big boss level type enemies. I wonder if that means like the snake from RE1?
