Topic: Baldur's Gate 3

@Tjuz I hope you haven’t locked yourself out of the Lae’Zel romance already. I think maybe she’s the jealous type, but I can’t recall. All I know if that despite her distant and harsh personality, it was fairly quick that she invited me for some 1-on-1. She was aggressively forward when she finally made the decision, iirc. Fortunately if you have burned that bridge already with your wandering lips, I’m pretty sure Astarion is more tolerant of such antics.

Speaking of Lae’zel, the whole bipolar thing with being torn between her loyalties is a really interesting story arc. Depending how you play your cards, you can get her to more fully commit to whichever side over time.

I did actually do the same with that Netherstalk! It was nice little story moment, and at the time I was trying to get into Shadowhearts… uh good graces. 😅 But in the long run I did regret using the Netherstalk that way because although it gives you the little flashback moment, if you give it to the wife I think she stocks better stuff in her store later in when you run into her. I think giving it to him ends up with a different little storyline too, although I’ll let you search that out if you want, rather than spoil it.

And good choice in not succumbing to the temptation of the short-term payoff by selling the egg. Of course as a githyanki race person, I wonder how that would go over if you did such a deed. You could probably kiss any romance with Lae’Zel goodbye.

The Underdark was probably my least favorite area, although it has its moments for sure. I just prefer the colorful variety of the other places and the less brooding atmosphere.

You continue to make good progress, despite the fact you’re behind your roommate’s schedule. Continue to enjoy the game at your own pace and preferred OCD-ness. It’s one where I feel like the game is all the better when stopping to smell each rose.
