@Fight_Teza_Fight aye the enemies are levelled a bit… but nothing like the final boss in New Dawn thankfully. Congrats on Scarlet Nexus btw and good luck for that final Dragon Quest XI S shiny 👍
@Th3solution It definitely wasn't intentional to leave a difficult trophy to the end, I actually watched a video of someone doing the run and it looked easier than it actually is. That's why I'm so keen to stick around to finish it off now before I've forgotten how to play the game. It certainly worked with Sackboy as I just kept trying until I nailed it and could feel I was getting that bit further along each time. With this one on Dead Nation even though I'm still not getting much further the earlier bits are getting easier so should hopefully just come good at some point.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Congrats on the Scarlet plat,I have that one downloaded and ready to go. It certainly looks better than Code Vein which seems to me to have the most drab and uninspired world.
As for Dragon Q, I have the plat in the standard version and only really remember a lengthy post game, perhaps that was required to grind up the levels for that boss.
EDIT. Just checked and they changed the fashion trophy for the S version, quite pleased I bought the bog standard version now.
@render you’ll get it bro. There is a slight rng in terms of enemies between each run… and eventually your best run will sync-up with a favourable enemy spawn.
Been slowly chipping away at Devil May Cry 1's Platinum over the past 3 weeks (currently at 68% completion) and wasn't really going to talk about it until I got it finished but man: Dante Must Die is sucking the absolute soul out of me.
It's not even like it's that much harder than the previous difficulty since a lot of the changes in Hard Mode are carried over into DMD. My main issue has been with the boss fights; they take such little damage and can easily kill you in about 4-5 hits now, it's absolutely ridiculous. I've never been a major fan of harder versions of existing bosses just being the same boss but with inflated health/damage numbers and having Nelo Angelo's 5-hit sword combo kill you from full health instantly is definitely not making that apprehension go away any time soon 😡
(Though kind of lying as I got the first Endling one a couple of days back.)
Wow that Helldivers platinum... Possibly the longest time I've ever taken to get as I got my first three trophies on it in March 2016, went back and played it a bit more seriously in spring 2020 and finally went back to finish the list starting in May this year. Probably wouldn't have bothered except I saw it mentioned in the boost thread and decided to see if I remembered how to play it. Then found some guides and info on the trophies I thought would be trickiest and with them out of the way it was just the massive grind for xp and kills. Platinum Trophy has a 0.7% completion so fairly happy to join the elite on this one.
@render
Unsurprisingly that one was toughest for me on Dead Nation too. To echo what the guys have said, keep at it and you'll get there - if I managed it then I've no doubt you can.
@Fight_Teza_Fight
Well done on the Scarlet Nexus completion, looks like an interesting game. And good luck with your Dragon Quest mission. I will say a prayer to RNG-sus for you.

@Fizza Sometimes you just have to let it go although a Devil May Cry platinum, well it is certainly beyond my skills.
@sorteddan Twice the platinum, twice the feels.
As for Helldivers, great stuff, you will have the Helldivers 2 platinum in 2030 although if Uncle Jim (are these ceos our Uncles?!) get his way you will still be playing it on a PS10.
@colonelkilgore Just watching Avatar in prep for Far Cry Pandora. Pretty entertaining stuff (only an hour in), but jeez 3 hours long, I could have platinum Endling twice in that time.
@sorteddan 2nd of the month?!?! C’mon dude, you’re better than that. 😎 Nah, congrats mate, particularly on Helldivers (something that I really need to make a start on)… a strong start to the month.
@CaptD nice mate, I remember us chatting about it a while back. The sequel was even a bit better iirc, so you’ll also have that to look forward to prior to the Ubisoft take. Let me know your thoughts once you’ve watched them both.
@Fizza Sounds like you are in a similar boat with DMC. It's been many a year since I've played a DMC game but good luck, you know it will be worth the effort.
@sorteddan Congrats on that trio, especially Helldivers - that sounds like one beast of a platinum time wise.
@render Thanks! @colonelkilgore That sounds good. Will probably do a critical path with some exploration in FC6. Big fan of Giancarlo! @sorteddan@CaptD One of those days I tell you & yeah I would’ve had that beautiful trinket by now if I had just played the regular version.

@sorteddan All this talk of UFOs at the moment, you would have thought they would open the hanger doors (or beam down) take one whiff and say "it don't half pen n ink here, we're off"
@colonelkilgore@sorteddan got it last night. One of my proudest platinums this one. I was determined to do it without looking anything up. There were some roadblocks along the way, but I got there eventually. It's probably my favourite puzzler on the PS5 (although The Pedestrian was good as well) and maybe my favourite I've played since Portal 2.
#178 Operation Tango (PS5)
Interesting idea for cooperative online play - having to rely on communication and problem solving. Only made me swear at one of my best friends a couple of times, made me chuckle a couple more and quite a feeling of relief when you get to the end of each mission. Made quite a nice change anyhow.
