Yeah I've been having short bursts on it too, before I get around to serious gaming. It's not bad. I've managed to get all of the multiplayer trophies done solo just by having a second controller plugged in. So now just need to collect all stickers for the first world then go for game completion. I read that the platinum breaker for many may well be the final knitted knight trial that combines all of them one in one run so that should be fun!
And yes I got notification as soon as I logged on today that my times had been bested but so far have resisted the urge to go back and try to challenge you.

@sorteddan That final knitted knight trial is one of two trophies I've got outstanding. I've never put much time into it but thinking of going for it now. I'm going to spend some time reacquainting myself with the individual trials first, just trying to nail those every time and then when I feel confident I'll go for the big one.
I didn't manage to get half way through it when I was playing it regularly before so hopefully I'll fair better this time. It's a deceptively difficult game towards the end.
Feels like I've been plugging away at this forever -ironically.
Didn't enjoy the first few hours as I didn't know where I was supposed to be going or what I was supposed to be doing and died quite a lot. Then I got some weapons and trinkets and got into a groove and really started to like the game though did get a bit bored/frustrated towards the end.
It did take me a lot longer than the guides I read suggested.
@render Congrats. I really enjoyed What remains of EF, still need to play the ps5 version and not just for the plat.
@sorteddan Congrats on breaking out of the death spiral, I too didn't think much of it for the first few hours and after completing the game I've come to the conclusion that the initial game design was intended to extend a fairly short game. Good game for the latter two thirds but not a 10/10 imo and would have preferred Dishonoured 3
@render
Yep it'll be nice to be out of Groundhog Day. Can't remember how that film ends though. Not sure what I'll do instead tomorrow. I may have to re-watch Groundhog Day.
@CaptD
And thanks to you for getting me the multiplayer trophies out of the way before I'd really even got started with it.
Unrelated I was checking my list and noticed my last 4 platinums were: Death's Door (PS5); Death's Door (PS4); Deathrun TV (PS5); Deathloop (PS5) and that happened entirely unintentionally... Or at least unconsciously.
I think I may have to now move away from death and give life a chance.
Congrats @sorteddan on Death to the power of 4 my friend, maybe try and find a game with Life in the title next… y’know, just to even up the scales some 😉
@sorteddan As far as I can tell, that leaves your next games as: Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Life is Strange 2, Life is Strange: True Colors, and Life of Black Tiger.

Well I checked my library and unsurprisingly have no 'Life' games there at all. Yes, that's right, I have no Life. Still have Death Road to Canada and Dead Cells installed on the PS4 though. I'm going to guess it's more a reflection of video game trends generally than on me personally but who knows.
I suppose I could just try to buy a Vita and play on that for a while.

Platinum #133 - Riders Republic - really surprised by how much I liked this. Lots of variety, massive map full of great locations and a really healthy player-count. Shout out to @CaptD for the recommendation and some good times in multiplayer.
Platinum #134 - The Surge 2 - fantastic AA souls-like from Deck 13! They know the genre so well by now that this… their third game in this style is maybe the best non-from souls-like I’ve played (it’s difficult for me to choose between this and Nioh). Brilliant combat and s-tier map design with the only drawbacks being it’s a little short.
@colonelkilgore Congrats on a couple of great platinums. Glad you enjoyed Riders Republic as I wouldn't want that 0% on your user profile to be on my conscience. A truly underrated game.
Congrats to the inimitable @colonelkilgore for leading us into a new month of platinum achievements before I've even got out of bed.
Glad you got over the server issues you were having anyhow.
“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”
@colonelkilgore Kudos for being able to simultaneously platinum two vastly different types of games. As I get older, I’m having trouble playing more than one game at a time, for one of them eventually suffers and I have trouble with keeping my skills up to snuff and remembering where I need to go. So for longer skill based games, lately I’ve been trying to stay with just the one game.

Platinum #135 - A Way Out - not as good a game as It Takes Two but still a great piece of co-oppery from Josef Fares. Massive shout out to @missuskilgore for being the Vincent to my Leo too 🙌.
@colonelkilgore Woah that's radical dude, congrats on that haul of 3 platinums.
I couldn't get @mrsrender into A Way Out unfortunately but do hope that she'll have another go at it at some point. I started playing Riders Republic and it's a really addictive and well made game. I didn't get chance to hop into your sessions with @CaptD for those multiplayer trophies unfortunately but hope that one day I'll be able to sink enough hours in to nail the platinum.
Ping...Kena Bridge of spirits.
Delightfully charming game which reminds me of the old ps2 platformers.
3/10 difficulty but I took advantage of a glitch to get the difficulty trophy otherwise the difficulty would be higher than Elden Ring imo so I would advise anyone who wants the platinum to play soonish before it is patched (not tremendously likely at this point but you never know). If you do the glitch then I recommend the version which uses the bombs on Ng+ in order to avoid a difficult jump sequence.
I played with the latest patch installed.
@render Riders republic is my summer game so I will be dipping in and out so just shout if you need any assistance.
@CaptD congrats buddy, think I might take your advice and make a start on this shortly to take advantage of what basically makes the platinum an almost formality. Glad you enjoyed.
@CaptD Hey nice work on the Kena platinum. I didn't know there was another glitch so will have to look that one up. It's a really great game but mad difficulty at times.
@colonelkilgore@CaptD Cheers for the offer with RR help. I will definitely tap one of you guys up for that soon 👍
@CaptD Glad I had a glance at the thread today as I wasn't aware of any glitch to help with that trophy on Kena. I wish I'd known about the earlier, easier glitch because it still took me several attempts to get past that first boss to get into the village and also to master that jump, but I did eventually do it. So after spending a few minutes getting the 'defeat 3 with a parry' trophy, I too now have that platinum.
First one for me in a few months so cheers for the tip.
I'm currently grinding away at the Lego Skywalker Saga platinum, and it's certainly turning into a painful grind. I think this might end up being my last Lego game but I'll go into more detail when I finally knock it out.
Kudos to everyone keeping the plats rolling during my own dry spell.
