Well done @RogerRoger , I've yet to get that 100% and as silly as it sounds the lack of a platinum pushed it to the bottom of the backlog.
PS had you played it on Xbox then you would have got 1000g 🙄
@colonelkilgore A belated congrats on that Doom platinum. That is one that might have broken me so well deserved.
@sorteddan Nice work on that one too. I started playing it back when it was released but haven't put much time in. Seems like it's a bit of a commitment.
@RogerRoger Congrats on that not-platinum. It's always a shame when a game doesn't have one but it's good that it's not put you off playing it. That reminds me I really should go back and finish The Pedestrian, another great game that doesn't have a platinum but feels like it should.
I'm still a long way from the Snowrunner platinum. I got hooked after JudgeDredd recommended it, and now find that it's impossible to put down. It's scratching that same itch that Death Stranding did and there's always one more delivery to make. I must have put in over 100 hours now easily and I've still got 1/3 of the standard game left, then there's the DLC which, even though there aren't any trophies relating to it, I'm probably going to play as well.
Well done @RogerRoger good to get the 100% but I always have a slight disappointment at the lack of a shiny when that happens to me. Good to see you've now dominated one of your faves though.
Platinum #126 - Dante’s Inferno - yeah good little (old school) God of War-clone but not as good as its inspiration. Still, I always enjoy dipping back into the PS3 backlog (while there are games left in it) and well worth a go.
My latest plat is Mafia.
Really good game, a well told story with good quality voice acting and cutscenes.
The main negative is that despite being released a couple of months before the PS5 it is locked to 30fps and feels very clunky almost Rockstar depths of control. Can't believe they didn't offer an unlocked frame rate option but then again it is 2K.
I did two playthroughs which was not really required but there are many collectibles in the missions so unless you follow a guide two playthroughs is best. Apparently the major stumbling block for the hardest difficulty playthrough is "The race" as you need to win it, thankfully I didn't have any trouble here and it took me around 20 mins. The best tip here is to tap X when halfway round a bend to kick the back out so you can get round the bend without too much speed lost.
Lastly the collectibles, way way way ... way way way too much. It felt like they intended to sell a dlc reveal map at some point, again because it is 2K but this didn't happen, perhaps there was a mtx uproar at the time.
Overall trophy difficulty 4/10.
@colonelkilgore@CaptD
Great stuff chaps.
Always happy to see the steady stream of push square plats dripping in.. even when it's not me achieving them.

#155 Demons Tier+ (PS5)
Twin-stick, roguelite, retro pixelated goodness - yes this game was very much up my street. Easy enough trophy requirements. Probably around 6-8 hours total.
And the best part is I get to do it all again on the PS4 version which was included in the purchase.

@sorteddan Congrats on 155! I’ve never heard of that game but it sounds right up my street. Any online leaderboard related trophies?
Also Powerpyx decided to not do a trophy guide for Atomic Heart. Apparently trophies are broken right now & they aren’t sure whether the trophy tracking works or not.
That’s probably a first😅.

@RogerRoger Congrats on the MGS not-plat. I know it's short but it's crazy something like that doesn't have a plat when you think of all the 10-minute dross in the store that does.
@CaptD Well done on the Mafia platinum. I recently played through the game myself and whilst I did do the chore of the collectibles, I left the 'Classic' difficulty after reading about it. I died quite a few times on the default setting so I didn't think the hard run would be enjoyable enough to go for but maybe I'll consider trying sometime. Whilst there are far too many collectibles, I didn't mind too much as some of the rarer cars were quite fun to tear around in. Especially that go-kart with rockets type car with no brakes.
Nice one @sorteddan too, keeping that tally climbing nicely. And cheers for the occasional in system thumbs ups.
Another couple for me recently Deliver us the Moon and Detroit Become Human.
The former was an enjoyable enough little game although it did start to frustrate near the end. I didn't like the lean into platforming style gameplay and the final puzzle/task drove me up the wall. It reminded me of the drinking games from Watchdogs and for some bizarre reason the game suddenly un-inverted the y-axis control just for that moment. Needless to say it took some getting used to and I died I think 3 or 4 times. The really long load times afterwards didn't help.
I really don't get why there wasn't any sort of tracker for the comics like all the other collectibles so I had to replay every chapter to find what I missed and typically it was the last one I tried. Other than that there was plenty to like about the game.
I really enjoyed going back to DBH for trophies on that after a few years. Although it's just an interactive story I'm down for that every now and then, I used to quite enjoy the choose your own adventure books. I really liked the characters and I would love a follow up of just Connor and Hank solving crimes in the post 'free android' society. It took some commitment for me to make the pair hate each other for the final playthrough.
@BearEatBeets Yeah I liked some of the off beat cars, my favourite was the Blue Flame looky likey and also liked one that looked like an old carriage. I actually had a strange thing happen with my Blue Flame in that it started to coughing and spluttering so I googled it and apparently I had ran out of petrol, I wasnt aware that was a thing in the game.
As for classic difficulty, it wasn't too bad damage wise and not far off normal diifculty imo and in fact my initial playthrough I changed it to easy as I found parts tricky. The only thing with classic I would say is that your health is saved at checkpoints so you need to make sure you go into a checkpoint with decent health. Just put the aim assist on high, skip the cutscenes and you'll be finished before you know it,
Oh and well done on both platinums, both good games which surprised me with how much I enjoyed them.
@CaptD yeah I got quite far into the game before I noticed the fuel gage. Not sure what that adds to the game but it was never an issue for me, I normally wrecked a car long before it ran out of fuel 😁.
Thanks for info regarding the difficulty. Your right though, with the ability to skip unnecessary drives and cutscenes I imagine it wouldn't take too long. It will probably be down to a few tricky moments in the story. I didn't realise you could use aim assist outside of difficulty. I could probably have used that on my normal run as aiming was something I found odd. The amount of times I would be looking at a spot only to stand out of cover and be aiming elsewhere and get hit whilst adjusting.
Anyway you have tempted me to maybe give it go.
@BearsEatBeets congrats on your quick one-two there buddy. Just picked up Deliver Us The Moon in a recent sale… but the fact that the final puzzle reminded you of the drinking mini-game from Watchdogs has put me right off it 😅!
@Fight_Teza_Fight
Nope, no online anything of the sort - just need to complete the game on three increasingly difficult tiers and you'll get all trophies naturally. The last tier can be a little tricky but not too much.
@BearsEatBeets
Good stuff. Two that I also got some time in the past. And no prob, I always have a flick through activities feed whenever I boot up the PS4 and give a thumbs up to any shiny or noteworthy achievements (or ones with funny names!). It's the feature I miss on the PS5... Cyber-stalking my friends list.
I’m Commander Shepard and this is platinum #57 for Mass Effect 1: Legendary Edition
A fairly straightforward list for ME1 with the legendary edition having a separate overall trophy list (with no plat) which has trophies related to an Insanity run.
The trophies for taking each separate companion on five missions is a little buggy but there are more than enough missions to get them all.
