Nice to see this thread. Just thought I’d introduce myself. I was an achievement addict back on 360 but don’t have the time these days to trophy hunt much. Got my PS5 last year and only have Platinums in Astro’s Playroom and Spider-man. At the moment I’m going for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Ghost Recon Wildlands. I do love achievement/trophy hunting and hope to get many more!
@MB81 hey buddy, something tells me that you and @AgentCooper would get on 🤔… good luck with your current ‘projects’. As a noob to Final Fantasy I actually found the FFVIIRemake plat a decent challenge… but a satisfying one.
I started Ghost Recon: Wildlands a while back… and do plan on returning to get its platinum. It seemed class but other things got in the way. I’ve since plat’d and really enjoyed its sequel GR: Breakpoint and have only heard that GR: Wildlands is quite a bit better.
Thanks guys. @colonelkilgore Wildlands is a lot simpler, than Breakpoint, which I feel tries to do too much. The map is also nicer. Platinum isn’t much of a challenge but it’ll take longer than Breakpoint. There’s one trophy you need to do in co-op I can help you with.
@MB81 Welcome and good luck with the FF7R plat. Unlike @Thrillho and @colonelkilgore I had to admit defeat with that one. The Hardcore difficulty run came to end for me around chapter 9 (I think, that Madhouse or whatever it's called fight). But that could be my low tolerance for frustration and perseverance to keep trying. Anyway, best of luck.
@colonelkilgore thanks man, I’m already playing mostly co-op with a buddy. Such a great co-op game. @BearsEatBeets man that battle was a nightmare, luckily I found a good guide on YouTube. I’ve just got 5 chapters and the Pride and Joy prototype to do. I heard getting the Gotterdamurung (spelling?) weapon from the DLC makes things easier too.
@MB81 Yeah, I found that battle tough first time around on normal. It sounds like you're in the home stretch. Hopefully hear about your successful Platinum soon.
#35 - Fall Guys! Thanks to some really lovely internet strangers, I finally managed to get Squad Goals. I imagine this will be my rarest Platinum for quite some time.
@MB81 Welcome aboard! I’m also going for the Final Fantasy 7 platinum.
I didn’t intend to at first but it seems very achievable & I got a fair amount of them just playing the game like I normally would.

@render No worries! I ended up joining an already established team, which was easier to co-ordinate a play time than juggling multiple people so was much easier. Appreciate the offer all the same

And congrats to you @RogerRoger. I have no frame of reference for the difficulty of your task with that one, but time trials of any kind normally require some effort. Always good to have one that's a pleasure to get regardless.
@RogerRoger congrats Rog, sounds like you had quite a bit of fun too. Never heard of it but I’ll have to check out a vid or two as I do like a bit of Trek.

Quite enjoyed Falll Guys for a month or so when it came out before t never considered going for the plat due to the win 5 in a row trophy which I thought was too much to ask. So massive congrats for getting that one done.

nummer 26 for me goes to arkham asylum. 32 hours. Those combat challenges where a bit frustrating though. 2 playtroughs.1 on normal including all cutscenes and a fast hard mode playtrough skipping all cutscenes.
