@nessisonett I have The Binding of Isaac: Repentance on my wishlist, it never seems to go on sale though sadly. I assume this version will have the buffs you’ve mentioned that aren’t in the version that you’re playing? Either way, good luck with that one.
@colonelkilgore It’s a tough choice. I picked up Cyberpunk having played the trial so that’s an option but also getting sucked into this Elden Ring hype (checks not in the Horizon thread 😅). Everyone is posting such positive comments about it and performance issues aside I don’t think there’s been any problems with it? That’s your next stop isn’t it?
@render 🤣 yeah, just gonna finish of the remaining trophies on Gris and then hopefully I’ll be starting Elden Ring on Wednesday… I’m pretty excited to finally start it if I’m honest.
@colonelkilgore Yep, Repentance is the final version of the game and utterly brilliant. It might have a different platinum though on PS5, I’m not sure.
Platinum #78 - Gris - a beautiful little indie 2D platformer. The perfect chance to take a breath between the two open-world colossi that recently released. Here comes Elden Ring!!!! 🤗
@colonelkilgore Nice work. I bought Gris ages ago for my daughter but she didn't give it a proper chance. I might see if she wants to play through it with me if I can pull her away from Lego Harry Potter long enough. Looking forward to seeing how you fair on Elden Ring as well as I finally gave into the hype and bought it 🤩
@render yeah I saw that you caved on the Elden Ring thread, sounds like you’ve liked the little that you’ve played so far too. I’m gonna start it tonight and absolutely psyched as you can imagine.
As for Gris… I’m not sure how old that your daughter is but I can’t help but feel a lot of it’s beauty (in all aspects not just the aesthetics) might go completely over the head of the younglings. I reckon that you may enjoy it though.
@colonelkilgore I can imagine you are well psyched. I'd say I'm equal parts excited and nervous for the challenge ahead but I'm going to enjoy it anyway.
My daughter is 8 and even though she understands a reasonable amount a lot can still go over her head even if it's fairly well explained. I'll maybe leave her to get on with Harry Potter for now and come back to that another time. At least she gets that as it's pretty much based on the films so it's effectively already been spoiled for you.
