Topic: Playstation 4 Backloggery and most wanted!

Backlog games are titles that I already have, right? I'm asking because there are many released games that I still want to play, but I didn't purchase it. For example, there is Yakuza Zero, I want to play it soon but I don't have with me. Does it count on my backlog? :3

@PS_Nation Games in your backlog usually means stuff you own which you have either not finished or started.

The OP also wants us to post what 3 games you intended to purchase next and what games you are currently playing so we can keep track of em.

@JohnnyShoulder I dont know if you have tried the Pes 18 co-op trophies yet, maybe we could give that a go together? I also havent finished sonic mania, crazy really I should be all over it but my love for Sonic is all nostalgia.

@PS_Nation As Johnny said 3 games in your backlog - 3 your planning to buy. We can use it as a tracker, I constantly forget what games I want next so it could be useful.

My backlog games list is ever widening but these are my priorities:

The most upcoming games I want this year are:

Dragon Quest XI

Interesting thread but I have way more than 3 backlogged games,honestly I'm getting stressed and overwhelmed thinking about it lol

Backlog:

Burnout Paradise Remastered: 3 trophies away from the platinum. Maybe I'll try to 100% it some day but after the plat I'm gonna take an extended break.

Hitman: Mission mastery 20 in every destination is the goal here.

The Bunker: A short one that I keep postponing. A blind playthrough first, focussing on the story. A second one shortly after for remaining trophies.

When that's done I plan on finally starting the great beast called The Witcher 3

SP: The Stick of Truth (was planning on buying it in the latest sale but eventually decided not to).

@JohnnyShoulder sweet will look into that! Theres a trophy just for finishing a game in cooperative I think.

@JJ-Firl seriously get on the Bunker! Its 3 hours max, absolutely brilliant game and the best platinum ever as when you have it, you have literally seen everything the game has to offer and it doesnt waste your time. Just a word of advice playing blind - make a few interval saves it will help you with the trophy mop up.

@Star-Lord Yakuza 0 is my goty 2018. Its absolutely awesome. I know you will love it.

The next three titles in my current backlog are the following:

1. Batman: The Telltale Series - The Enemy Within
2. Ratchet & Clank
3. Jak 3 and Jak X

I'm also planning replays of Horizon, Uncharteds 3, 4 and The Lost Legacy, Rise of the Tomb Raider (must be completed ahead of September) and Just Cause 3.

My next purchases will likely be the following games:

1. Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition
2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider (at launch)
3. Spyro: The Reignited Trilogy (at launch)

Games I buy at launch get played immediately. Not sure when I'm gonna squeeze in Final Fantasy, because that might trigger a wider interest in the franchise and then I'll be lost down that particularly deep rabbit hole for a year or two.

@JJ-Firl Hyper Light Drifter and Nier pending you say? That's some absolute quality gaming ahead, the two best games of this generation in my opinion.

@Star-Lord Yes bought it earlier. Traded in persona 5 and street fighter 5 arcade for the privilege. Its really good so far. It must be its 3:44 in the morning when Im writing this.

@themcnoisy Thanks for the heads up! Does this mean that there is no chapter select but you can save manually as much as you like?

@kyleforrester87 They both look amazing. Although they are different, they share a mysteriousness and a general weirdness that I find very appealing. Nier is 50% off at the moment so I might as well pick it up right away...

@JJ-Firl I think its just a single run through. I could be wrong I played it near to release. Amazing game though, easily the best fmv game out there.

Knack ﷼ - Ive finished part 2 and after part 3 Im done with the game. Its awful. My as well grab the trophy for the 3-5 boss.

Pes 2018 (master league trophies) ₪ - Half way there! Have the treble with psv and halfway through my second season in Argentina.

Next purchases:

Yeah I've just been playing Boy of God.

So far, I have 3 games for the rest of 2018 that I really want - 2 of which I have pre-ordered. Those games are Spider-Man (pre-order Limited Edition), Shadow of the Tomb Raider (pre-ordered the Croft edition) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (not yet pre-ordered and waiting to see if there is any special editions). There are a few other games I am interested in and will probably buy - games like Vampyre and Strange Brigade but as games like Metro Exodus, BioMutant and Forza Horizon 4 are expected this year too and with E3 coming next month, the list of 'wanted' games and their release schedules could affect which games I buy and when. CoD BO4 'could' be the first CoD game I don't buy on day1 too.

My backlog still consists of a number of IGC/GwG games that increase monthly - although May won't add to that - Rayman and MGSv are games I already have from Gold and PS+ and no interest in the other offerings - apart from Vanquish on BC. I recently started Deus Ex and Mad Max (from PS+). I still have the Evil Within to finish and then I will start the Evil Within 2 (can't believe its been 6 months and still not played it) and Far Cry 5 should be bringing DLC (and Far Cry 3) soon so I will also have those to play until Septembers game releases.
