@KidRyan ahh my bad, I didn’t realise you were referring to non-gaming purchases 🙏

@antdickens Sorry to be a pain, but I'm trying to add Spirit of the North 2 to my profile's Games Collection and the site won't let me. On the page I've linked, there are only options for Want, Maybe, Nope, and Remove. There's an Add option when you find it by searching the All Games tab but when I click it, a big red banner pops up telling me, "This game can't currently be added to your own list." But I really do own a copy, honest! I could send you a picture of the box an' everything!

What if there was a calendar, like "The Guys and Gals of Push Square?" Could be a good source of extra revenue and a treat for the fans!

Well, I have to admit it... I'm an absolute king!!!

@antdickens My obsessive need to catalogue and organise my games thanks you, kind sir!

Example

Small layout bug I noticed. If you include a username in a quote it pushes the whole quote box below their user profile picture due to the CSS float. See this example and perhaps the example above - not sure it works the same on the forums (Edit: it doesn't).

This is due to the following CSS. Not sure what use it has elsewhere.

.comments .comment .text .userquote {
clear: both;
}

Stummbled upon the Push Square Youtube account again this week. Some of the content are mere gameplay videos, or video summaries of reviews published on the site (I think). And therefore I do not watch everything that's published on said channel.

However, Aaron also publishes top tier content on there as well, that I don't see on the site. A recent example is this video:

Isn't it kind of a waste that video pieces like these don't get a larger audience? I think it would be really nice if you published at least some of his videos on the site as well. It could be something like this:

Anyway, thanks for what you are doing, Aaron!

Just wanted to throw something out there: I've noticed over the years that the forum search function is limited to threads/original posts of said threads. If I'm not mistaken, it isn't possible to search through all posts in any thread. I wonder if this might be a possibility still? I only ask because sometimes I'll be looking for thoughts on a certain games, and it'd be highly useful to find previous posts other members may have made regarding the game. Or I'll want to link someone a previous post I made about a game preferably without having to scroll through my profile endlessly. I understand if it's too much of a colossal effort with the layout of the forum and everything, but I was just wondering if this was at all in the cards at any point!

@Tjuz I've been meaning to add a search to the forum for a long time. Whilst it's not perfect, I've implemented a quick a dirty search that does work, but is limited to exact phrases. The whole database needs a change before it can be more sophisticated.

There is now a 'Search Topic' button at the top of a topic page and also a 'Search Posts' on a user profile (to search through a users' posts). Both of these features require you to be logged in.

@antdickens Wow, this works really well. I’ve tried the search function a few times the last couple days to find old posts and it’s quite helpful. Thanks!

@antdickens Thank you very much! I didn't expect you to get around to implementing anything like this on such quick notice and purely on my request. I'll echo Sol's sentiment. It works incredibly well for as much as I've used it thus far! Appreciate it.
