Topic: PS4 is very slow and lags

My PS4 slows down and freezes every 20 seconds or so, and becomes unresponsive for about 60+ seconds. It sometimes comes back to normal or just shuts down, depending on what I do (launch a game, the store, settings). It's practically unusable. I already tried rebuilding the database, I deleted everything and re installed the OS and the problem persists. I'm told it could be a heating issue, but I cleaned it and re applied thermal paste to it a few weeks ago. That's when I started seeing these issues, but it was never this bad. I hadn't been playing for a while, just Netflix and Youtube, but now it won't even launch those without freezing.

@Lem1697 The only other I can think (except heat) is the hard disk drive. If you had a spare you could try swapping.

@belmont i fixed it by taking the ps4 apart and putting it back together. It was probably a loose connection or something. Thanks for replying tho
