Let's have a look at what's in PS Store's The Game Awards sale.
Note: US pricing will be added once the sale goes live in North America.
A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5)
£8.74 (-75%)
A Plague Tale: Innocence is the best kind of surprise: an unexpectedly strong historical outing with a likeable cast of characters and unique stealth mechanics. The fantasy underpinnings may not be to everyone’s tastes – especially as the tale somewhat limps to its conclusion – but Asobo Studio’s outstanding use of the PS5 hardware, including the DualSense, make it a must play for fans of story-based adventures.

A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5)
£17.49 (-65%)
Better than its predecessor in virtually every way, A Plague Tale: Requiem is a proper sequel that improves its familiar gameplay mechanics and couples them with stunning PS5 visuals and an engaging story. It doesn't completely rewrite the script, but taking a page from the Naughty Dog playbook, this is a cinematic adventure more than worth your time.
Baby Steps (PS5)
£11.99 (-25%)
Baby Steps is more than it first appears, offering up a heartfelt story about a man grappling with his insecurities as he's forced to keep going. The intentionally tricky walking and climbing is a lot of fun to grapple with, and there's plenty of silly stuff to discover in the open world setting. Your mileage may vary due to various factors, not least the amount of punishment you'll take as you scramble up the mountain, but it's a journey worth taking for those willing to persist.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (PS5)
£19.99 (-60%)
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden marries an excellent narrative with engaging and enjoyable gameplay. Poor enemy variety and technical flaws hold it back from true greatness, but its excellent, story-focused side quests on the other side make a few drab combat encounters worth pushing through. The studio's best game to date, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a new IP we hope is here to stay.
Blue Prince (PS5)
£16.24 (-35%)
A compelling combination of first-person puzzle solving with roguelike elements, Blue Prince is a unique and deceptively deep adventure. Rich with puzzles and secrets, you'll discover or learn something new every time you build your way through the mysterious mansion. There's far more to this game than meets the eye, and for its most determined players, there's a high degree of satisfaction to be found in peeling back its many layers.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PS5)
£35.99 (-20%)
Inspired by RPGs new and old, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG with the whole package. Set against the backdrop of a bleak mystery, the game sees a group travelling across a magical landscape to finally put a stop to the enigmatic Paintress and her deadly countdown. While the characters, story, and music all shine, it's the combat that stands out most, with each party member having totally unique mechanics that can complement the others. On top of that, quick-time events and the ability to dodge or parry incoming attacks keeps it feeling active and engaging. There are some rough edges here and there, but by and large, this is an RPG any fan of the genre shouldn't miss.
Date Everything (PS5)
£19.49 (-35%)
This unusual spin on the dating sim lives up to its name. Date Everything is a game with hundreds of inanimate objects turned into humanoid beings you can form relationships with, be they platonic or romantic. With great art and voice acting from lots of well-known performers, this is a silly visual novel that's sure to have something for everyone.
Dead Island 2 (PS5)
£11.24 (-75%)
It took nearly 10 years to materialise, but against all odds, Dead Island 2 is a great zombie-slaying adventure. Set in Los Angeles, you work your way through various open levels as you fend off the undead with a wide variety of weapons and abilities. The story isn't anything too special, but the game makes up for it with gloriously gory action and a rounded, well-realised setting. If you just want to smash open some zombie skulls, look no further.
Dead Space (PS5)
£10.49 (-85%)
One of EA's best-loved games returns with this PS5 remake of Dead Space. Retelling the original story of Isaac Clarke exploring the decimated corridors of the USG Ishimura, this updated version is more than just a fresh coat of paint. On top of modern visuals, the remake turns the ship into one interconnected environment, expands many areas, adds voice acting for Isaac, and more. Aside from all that, this is the same great Dead Space you remember — intense atmosphere, unique enemies and weapons, and a memorable story.
Dragon's Dogma 2 (PS5)
£23.99 (-60%)
A long-awaited sequel to Capcom's cult classic action RPG, Dragon's Dogma 2 is another combat-focused romp, boasting some of the best and most dynamic monster-slaying skirmishes you'll find in gaming. The exploration is also incredibly immersive, as your custom character and their AI-driven allies brave beast-infested roads, caves, and ruins, all in the name of completing quests. The story's a little undercooked, but few games capture the spirit of adventure quite like Dragon's Dogma 2.
Dredge (PS5)
£7.99 (-60%)
The best thing about Dredge is its ingenious core concept. Playing as a hard-working fisherman, it's your job to go out into the open waters, catch fish, then sell them to fishmongers for a tidy sum. Using the money you earn and the resources you find, you'll slowly upgrade your trawler to become a more capable vessel. This would be enough on its own to provide a good time, but the spooky twist means there's a near-constant sense of, well, dread. As you progress, more and more eldritch horrors will present themselves, challenging your impulse to fish into the night by creeping you out with weird visions and inexplicable dangers. An eerie game that reels you in with its moreish gameplay loop.
Dying Light 2 (PS5)
£18.14 (-67%)
The original Dying Light game might have gone under the radar critically, but it certainly sold impressively well on PS4. As such, expectations were high for this PS5 sequel, with developer Techland promising all sorts of narrative choices and intriguing story beats. And while the finished product didn't live up to those claims, the actual open world title is still a fun one. Looking for something to turn your brain off to and start slicing and dicing the undead? You can't do much better than Dying Light 2. Complete with an awesome parkour moveset, traversal has never felt this good.

Still waiting for a decent sale on Clair Obscur. I don’t buy digital games for more than £25, and that really is maximum.
Because of the timezone difference, we in Brazil don't have anything yet. I hate to wait. I'll take a lot at the UK Store while i wait
I just couldn't stop playing Yoku's Island Express until I'd finished it. I even downloaded the theme tune.
Looks like a couple good deals ( maybe?). This sale is all in European money though so nothing really speaks to me that loudly. I think it cost a bit more in usd(?). I’d try space marine or Wolfenstein for the Right price. Not my genre but the resident evils being on sale would interest my son.
@Leetware1 Pound Sterling is UK money, not European.
@MrPeanutbutterz yeahhhh it’s all Greek to me lol. I kinda understand Canadian money cause they are near me ( loonies, toonies etc.)I have like NO understanding of Britain/UK/im not sure what they are called now. I thought they were one country now or something about brexit. Or the eu? Not being offensive just really can’t keep up.
As a fan pf Dragon's Dogma 1, don't buy the second one, not even at deep discount.
Hmm no US game awards sale. As of 12pm
Not seeing anything on the US store, a little after noon here. I wonder when it goes live.
@Nnfyrbsnss your profile picture remind me of the sphinx boss from dragon dogma online :x

@4fold I wish I had your willpower! What I would say is full price Clair Obscur is a bargain, in my view...
