Ghost of Tsushima: All Trophies and How to Get the Platinum 1

In this Ghost of Tsushima Trophy roadmap, we're going to outline all of the game's Trophies and how you can go about unlocking them. This is a part of our extensive Ghost of Tsushima guide, which has information on locations, equipment, and much more. This Trophy guide also links to a number of more in-depth guides, which go into detail about how certain Trophies are unlocked.

This Trophy guide also covers Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut. This enhanced edition of the game includes new Trophies, which are tied to the Iki Island expansion. You can skip straight to that section of the guide by clicking the Table of Contents link below.

It's entirely possible to earn all of the Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima in a single playthrough. None of the game's Trophies are missable, and there are no Trophies tied to difficulty. For more information on difficulty settings, be sure to check out the following guide: Ghost of Tsushima: What Difficulty Should You Select?

In order to get all of the Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima, you'll need to visit a huge number of locations, all of which are scattered across the game's open world. To help with this, we have guides on all the locations that you need to find: Ghost of Tsushima: All Hot Spring Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Bamboo Strike Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Fox Den and Inari Shrine Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Haiku Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Shinto Shrine Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Pillar of Honor Locations.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut includes the full Trophy list from the main game. It also includes all additional Trophies added through updates, and two new Trophy lists which are tied to the Iki Island expansion — which is only available in Director's Cut.

Does Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut Have a Separate Trophy List?

Yes, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut has its own, separate Trophy list. It's the same base game Trophy list as the original Ghost of Tsushima, plus all of the additional Trophies added through updates.

Do Trophies Transfer from Ghost of Tsushima to Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut?

If you've already played Ghost of Tsushima and made progress through the Trophy list, you can automatically unlock all of the Trophies you've already earned in the original game.

To do so, you need to transfer your save data to Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut. On PS5, you need to have your Ghost of Tsushima save data on the console. Then, on the main menu of Director's Cut, there's an option to transfer that data. When you load up your game, all of the Trophies that you've unlocked on that save will pop automatically.

All Trophies

There are 52 Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima (not counting Trophies added through updates, but they don't count towards your Platinum anyway). Below you'll find a complete list of all the game's Trophies, along with descriptions and advice on how to unlock them.

For information on additional Trophies added through updates, please head towards the bottom of this guide.

Norio has 9 Tales to complete throughout the game. Some of these Tales are only unlocked as the main story progresses. Don't worry about missing any of them — you can always come back to them once the main story is finished. Character Tales are easy to find — simply look for the golden icons on the map.

The Vengeful Warrior

Silver: Complete all of Masako's Tales.

Masako has 9 Tales to complete throughout the game. Some of these Tales are only unlocked as the main story progresses. Don't worry about missing any of them — you can always come back to them once the main story is finished. Character Tales are easy to find — simply look for the golden icons on the map.

The Unbending Archer

Silver: Complete all of Ishikawa's Tales.

Ishikawa has 9 Tales to complete throughout the game. Some of these Tales are only unlocked as the main story progresses. Don't worry about missing any of them — you can always come back to them once the main story is finished. Character Tales are easy to find — simply look for the golden icons on the map.

The Headstrong Thief

Silver: Complete all of Yuna's Tales.

Yuna has 4 Tales to complete throughout the game. Some of these Tales are only unlocked as the main story progresses. Don't worry about missing any of them — you can always come back to them once the main story is finished. Character Tales are easy to find — simply look for the golden icons on the map.

Teller of Tales

Silver: Complete all of the Mythic Tales.

There are 7 Mythic Tales to complete throughout the game. Mythic Tales are indicated by blue icons on the map, but in order to find these blue icons, you'll need information. Be sure to talk with characters who have speech bubbles above their heads — this is the best way to find leads on Mythic Tales.

Some Mythic Tales are only unlocked as the main story progresses, but don't worry about missing any of them — you can come back to them at any time.

For much more information on Mythic Tales, you can refer to our full guide on the subject: Ghost of Tsushima: All Mythic Tales and Rewards.

Helping Sword Hand

Gold: Complete all Tales of Tsushima.

To unlock this one, you have to complete all of the Tales in Ghost of Tsushima. This includes all of the specific character Tales (Norio, Masako, Ishikawa, Yuna), and all of the game's standard side quests. These standard side quests appear on the map as white icons. You can either stumble across them as you travel, or you can hear about them from characters who have speech bubbles above their heads. As a general rule, you should always talk to these characters.

Don't worry about missing any of these Tales — you can come back to them at any time. There are a total of 61 Tales in Ghost of Tsushima, excluding Mythic Tales.

If you're missing any Tales, journey around the map and visit towns. Talk to anyone with a speech bubble and you'll likely be given a lead on the Tale that you're trying to find. If there aren't any characters with speech bubbles, try a different town or location.

Flash of Steel

Bronze: Defeat 20 enemies with a counterattack after a Perfect Parry.

This one's simple enough — you just need to get used to the timing of a Perfect Parry. But please note: in order to actually perform a Perfect Parry, you need to purchase the technique with a technique point. It's one of the first skills that you can unlock. For more information on Techniques, be sure to check out our in-depth guide on the topic: Ghost of Tsushima: All Techniques and Best Techniques to Learn.

Perfect Parries are easier to pull off against weaker foes. Enemies that you find near the start of the game — the ones that wear ragged clothes — have slow attacks that are easy to see coming, and so parrying requires less precise timing.

If you're having real trouble with this Trophy, you could always try turning the difficulty down to Easy. Parries and Perfect Parries are easier to perform on Easy because the timing is less strict. For more information on difficulty options, be sure to check out this guide: Ghost of Tsushima: What Difficulty Should You Select?

Witness Protection

Bronze: Shoot a Terrified enemy with an arrow while they are fleeing.

This one's easy once you're a little deeper into the game and Jin has abilities that terrify his enemies. When you see a foe drop their weapons and fall to the floor, that means they're terrified. Simply pull out your bow and nail them with an arrow to unlock this Trophy.

All in the Wrist

Bronze: Defeat the maximum amount of enemies within a single Standoff.

This Trophy is trickier than it first appears. Unlocking upgrades in the Standoff skill tree allows Jin to cut down a maximum of three enemies in one Standoff, but that's not actually the most enemies that you can kill with this technique in one shot.

The real maximum is five enemies, but this is only possible with fully upgraded Clan Sakai Armor equipped. This armor set has a specific perk that increases the number of enemies you can defeat during a single Standoff. For more information on the armor in Ghost of Tsushima, check out our in-depth guide on the subject: Ghost of Tsushima: Best Armor and All Armor Sets You Can Unlock.

Open for Business

Bronze: Successfully Stagger enemies 50 times.

This is another straightforward Trophy to unlock. Staggering enemies 50 times may seem like a lot, but you're going to be fighting hundreds of enemies as you make your way through the game. To actually stagger an enemy, you need to break their guard with heavy attacks — that's the triangle button in combat. You'll unlock this Trophy sooner or later.

There Can Be Only One

Bronze: Successfully complete every duel.

Duels are special one-on-one fights in Ghost of Tsushima. Some happen during the main story, others happen after you've liberated an enemy stronghold. The Mythic Tale ' The Six Blades of Kojiro' in Act 2 features six different duels, which are all marked on your map once you initiate the Tale. All of these duels count towards the Trophy.

Fortunately, duels cannot be missed, but as alluded, some duels only occur much later in the main story, so it'll be a while before you can unlock this Trophy.

Have a Nice Fall

Silver: Kill an enemy with fall damage by knocking them off a ledge.

Jin can learn two different techniques that forcefully send a foe flying. The first is the Shoulder Charge from the Evasion skill tree. The second is the Typhoon Kick, which can be used during the Wind Stance. The first upgrade in the Wind Stance skill tree makes the Typhoon Kick even more forceful, which might be useful for this Trophy. For additional information on these techniques and more, check out the following guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Techniques and Best Techniques to Learn.

Once you've wrapped your head around how these techniques work, you'll need to find some enemies hanging around a cliff. Check near coastlines or around mountains while out in the open world. Lure one of them close to a ledge, and smash them off. Just make sure that the fall is actually high enough to kill them.

Haunting Precision

Bronze: Kill 20 enemies with Ghost Stance strikes.

Easily done. The Ghost Stance is unlocked automatically as you progress through the story. Simply use it every now and then to rack up 20 kills.

The Ghost of Legend

Bronze: Build your Legend to earn the title Ghost of Tsushima.

This Trophy may take a while to get, but it's straightforward. As you win fights and complete quests, your legend rank will increase. Each rank has a specific title, like Broken Samurai and Wandering Samurai. Ghost of Tsushima is the final legend rank, so you'll need to spend a lot of time with the game.

Just going through the main story missions isn't enough to reach this rank — you'll also need to complete some side quests and roam the world for additional rank increases.

Quick Study

Bronze: Learn the Stone, Water, Wind, and Moon combat stances.

You'll likely earn this Trophy automatically in time, but you can fast track your progress by seeking out Mongol leaders. These are the heavily armoured soldiers that can be found in Mongol war camps. Observing them or killing them takes you one step closer to unlocking a new stance.

Every Trick in the Book

Bronze: Acquire all the throwable Ghost Weapon techniques.

Unlocking Ghost weapons happens naturally over the course of the story, so you'll get this Trophy eventually.

For more information on Ghost weapons and what they do, check out the following guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Techniques and Best Techniques to Learn.

The Perfect Storm

Bronze: Fully upgrade your sword.

Upgrading your sword requires materials like iron, steel, and gold. It's likely that you won't have enough of these materials to fully upgrade your blade until much later in the game.

If you're stuck on where to find gold in particular, this guide may help: Ghost of Tsushima: Where to Find Gold.

A Charming Man

Bronze: Equip a charm in all 6 slots.

Another simple Trophy — just slap six charms into all of your open slots and it's yours. However, it's worth noting that you don't start the game with six open slots — you need to unlock them by finding Inari Shrines. For all of these locations, check out our full guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Fox Den and Inari Shrine Locations.

For more information on charms themselves, give this guide a read: Ghost of Tsushima: Best Charms and Where to Find Them.

Gifted

Bronze: Collect 10 gifts.

Gifts are left for Jin as offerings in towns. Place your map cursor on a town to quickly see whether there are any gifts available. Gifts come in various forms: supplies, materials, and cosmetic items. New gifts usually appear when Jin reaches a new legend rank, when you make progress in the main story, or when you complete a Tale.

Slay

Bronze: Acquire 30 pieces of Vanity Gear.

Vanity Gear refers to cosmetic items — hats, headbands, masks, sword kits, and other equipment. Collecting 30 of them isn't too difficulty — just play through the game, doing side quests when you can, and you should get more than enough.

For sword kits in particular, be sure to find Pillars of Honor. This guide has all of the locations you need: Ghost of Tsushima: All Pillar of Honor Locations. There are 23 Pillars of Honor to visit, so you'll be well on your way to unlocking this Trophy if you find them all.

Light the Way

Bronze: Rekindle all the lighthouses of Tsushima.

Another straightforward Trophy, but you'll need to progress all the way to Act 3 of the main story in order to find every lighthouse. We've listed all the lighthouse locations in the following guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Lighthouse Locations.

Den of Thieves

Bronze: Discover Umugi Cove.

You'll visit Umugi Cove at some point during the main story, so you'll get this Trophy eventually.

Favour of the Kami

Bronze: Find and honour all of the Shinto Shrines on Tsushima.

For this Trophy, you're going to have to seek out and complete every Shinto Shrine on the island, of which there are 16. The following guide has all of the locations that you need: Ghost of Tsushima: All Shinto Shrine Locations.

Honour the Unseen

Bronze: Bow to 10 hidden altars across Tsushima.

This is probably one of the hardest Trophies to unlock in the game, as it requires some serious legwork. The locations of these altars are not marked on the map, and you're given no clues as to where they might be.

Fortunately, if you do get stuck, we've got a full guide on finding all the altars: Ghost of Tsushima: All Hidden Altars Locations.

Lost and Found

Bronze: Discover a Pillar of Honour and collect its Sword Kit.

Easy peasy — this Trophy requires the discovery of just one Pillar of Honour. But if you'd like to find them all and unlock some cool cosmetics for your sword, then check out this guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Pillar of Honor Locations.

Monochrome Masters

Bronze: Purchase and item from the Black and White Dye Merchants.

There are two hidden merchants somewhere in Tsushima who'll dye your armour either black or white. Finding them can be tricky since you're not given any leads as to where the merchants are located, but once you find them, you simply have to purchase a dye from each of them to unlock this Trophy.

If you're not quite sure where the merchants are, check out our quick guide on the subject: Ghost of Tsushima: Black and White Dye Merchants - Where to Find Them.

Cooper Clan Cosplayer

Silver: Dress up as a legendary thief.

This Trophy is a cheeky nod to one of developer Sucker Punch's previous properties, Sly Cooper. In order to unlock it, you'll have to cosplay as the legendary thief himself. It's a tricky Trophy to get because you'll need some specific cosmetic items. But once you have them, just equip them and you'll nab the trinket.

For more information on the cosmetic items that you need, check out this guide: Ghost of Tsushima: How to Dress Up as a Legendary Thief.

Dirge of the Fallen Forge

Bronze: Play "Lament of the Storm" at a friend's grave.

This is an easy Trophy to unlock once you know where to go. The location is only available later in the story, but if you're stuck looking for it, you can check out our full guide: Ghost of Tsushima: A Friend's Grave Location. Play the flue song 'Lament of the Storm' next to the grave and you'll get this Trophy.

A Moment in Time

Bronze: Personalise a scene in Photo Mode.

Another easy Trophy to unlock. Simply open up Photo Mode using the right d-pad button and play around with some of the settings. Done.

Avid Reader

Bronze: Collect 20 Records.

Records are collectibles that you'll find scattered all across the open world. The best way to find them is to equip the Traveller armour set and tune your guiding wind to find records from the map screen. For more information on the Traveller armour set and every other armour set in Ghost of Tsushima, check out this in-depth guide: Ghost of Tsushima: Best Armor and All Armor Sets You Can Unlock.

Know Your Enemy

Bronze: Collect 20 Mongol Artefacts.

Artefacts are collectibles that you'll find dotted all across the game's open world. The best way to find them is to equip the Traveller armour set and tune your guiding wind to find artefacts from the map screen. For more information on the Traveller armour set and every other armour set in Ghost of Tsushima, check out this in-depth guide: Ghost of Tsushima: Best Armor and All Armor Sets You Can Unlock.

Body, Mind, and Spirit

Silver: Complete all Hot Springs, Haiku, Inari Shrines, and Bamboo Strikes.

This is one of the most time consuming Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima. To unlock it, you have to find and complete all of listed locations.

If you need help finding them all, we've got guides for everything: Ghost of Tsushima: All Hot Spring Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Haiku Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Fox Den and Inari Shrine Locations, Ghost of Tsushima: All Bamboo Strike Locations.

Hero to the People

Bronze: Liberate 12 occupied areas in Izuhara.

A straightforward Trophy that unlocks once you've completed 12 Mongol camps in the starting area of the game.

A Fight For The Isle...

Bronze: Liberate all occupied areas in Izuhara.

A follow-on to the previous Trophy, all you have to do is continue your campaign across Izuhara and complete all the Mongol camps in the area.

Good Riddance

Bronze: Liberate 8 occupied areas in Toyotama.

To unlock this Trophy, simply complete 8 Mongol camps in Toyotama. Toyotama is the second area of the game, which is yours to explore once you reach Act 2.

Securing Sanctuary...

Bronze: Liberate all occupied areas in Toyotama.

Continue your campaign of bloodshed through the Toyotama area until you've completed every Mongol camp.

Mass Eviction

Bronze: Liberate 7 occupied areas in Kamigata.

Complete 7 Mongol camps in Kamigata — the final area of the game in Act 3 — to unlock this Trophy.

A New Safe Haven

Bronze: Liberate all occupied areas in Kamigata.

Complete all the Mongol camps in Kamigata to get this Trophy.

Master Liberator

Silver: Liberate the entirety of Tsushima Island.

Complete every Mongol camp in Izuhara, Toyotama, and Kamigata to get this time consuming Trophy.

Ghost of Tsushima: All Trophies and How to Get the Platinum 2

Legends Mode Trophies

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends was added to the game as part of update 1.12. The free co-op expansion has its own set of Trophies, which we've listed below.

These Trophies do not count towards the game's Platinum Trophy.

Transcendence

Gold: Complete all 3 Raid chapters.

Take on and complete all three chapters of the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Raid, which will be released in the coming months (at the time of writing). The Raid will be the hardest challenge that Legends has.

Ultimate Warrior

Silver: Reach rank 20 with all roles.

This Trophy requires a bit of grinding, but it's perfectly doable if you spend enough time with Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. You need to get all four character classes — Samurai, Ronin, Hunter, and Assassin — to rank 20. You can increase each role's rank by playing, but finding success will obviously rank you up faster. You only start with one character class, but you can unlock a new one at set intervals as you rank up. Once you have all four unlocked, you can try for this Trophy.

Ultimate Truth

Silver: Complete the final wave in gold Survival.

Gold is the hardest Survival mode difficulty, so you'll need patience, skill, and tight teammates to get this Trophy. Actually getting to Gold may take some time, as you'll need to level up your chosen class enough in order to stand a chance.

Promising Start

Bronze: Complete a Legends Mode story.

Easily done, just complete the first story of Legends Mode with another player. You can even do it by yourself, if you're skilled enough.

True Understanding

Bronze: Complete all Legends Mode stories.

Another straightforward Trophy, although this will take you at least a few hours. There are nine separate stories to play through, so the best way to get this Trophy is to get together with a friend and take the whole thing on together.

Self-Actualised

Bronze: Reach rank 20 in any role.

A simple Trophy. Just hit rank 20 with any character class. It'll take a handful of hours, but enough grinding will get the job done.

Ghost of Tsushima: All Trophies and How to Get the Platinum 3

New Game+ Trophies

New Game + was added to Ghost of Tsushima via update 1.12. New Game+ lets you begin Jin's adventure again with all of the skills, armour, charms, and cosmetics from your completed game. There are just two Trophies tied to New Game+.

These Trophies do not count towards the game's Platinum Trophy.

Grand Opening

Bronze: Purchase something from Baku the Voiceless in New Game+.

Baku the Voiceless is a strange merchant who can only be found in New Game+. He sells exclusive armour, charms, and cosmetics which can be bought with Ghost Flowers. Ghost Flowers are given to you upon completing quests or activities in New Game+. Simply buy something from Baku to get this Trophy.

A Legend for All Time

Silver: Complete Jin's Journey in New Game+.

A straightforward Trophy, but it'll take you a while to get given the length of the game. Simply complete Ghost of Tsushima again on New Game+ to bag this one.

Ghost of Tsushima: All Trophies and How to Get the Platinum 4

All Iki Island Trophies

The Iki Island expansion has two Trophy lists tied to it. The Iki Island expansion does not have its own Platinum Trophy.

  • Iki Island: Story - 7 Trophies
  • Iki Island: Exploration - 6 Trophies

We've listed all of these Trophies below, along with how to get them.

Out of the Past

Silver

Unlocked as you play through the Iki Island story.

Friend to All Raiders

Gold

Unlocked as you play through the Iki Island story.

The Benefit of All Beings

Bronze: Build your Legend on Iki Island to earn the title Legacy Redeemer.

Iki Island has its own Legend system, separate to the Legend rank that you have back on Tsushima. To unlock this Trophy, you need to raise your new Legend rank to maximum. This isn't too difficult — completing the main Iki Island story should get you most of the way. Side quests and other activities should be enough for the rest.

The Butcher Redeemed

Bronze

Unlocked as you play through the Iki Island story.

Treasures of the Past

Bronze: Complete all Mythic Tales on Iki Island.

An easy Trophy, as there are only two Mythic Tales in the expansion. You can read our updated Ghost of Tsushima: All Mythic Tales and Rewards guide for more information on where to find these new Tales.

Elegy of Kazumasa

Bronze: Complete all Memories of Your Father.

Unlocking this Trophy means finding all of the memory points across the Iki Island map. You can use the following guide to track them down: Ghost of Tsushima: All Iki Island Memories of Your Father Locations.

Common Courtesy

Bronze: Discover and complete all unwritten tales on Iki Island.

The game contains no clear hints as to what this Trophy requires. We're currently trying to work it out, and we'll update this guide once we do. Sorry!

Monkey See

Bronze: Embody the spirit of the monkey on Saruiwa.

For a Bronze, this is a particularly tricky Trophy to unlock. It requires Jin to perform various actions near monkey statues while climbing to the top of Saruiwa Mountain.

We've detailed what you need to do for this Trophy in the following guide: Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island Monkey See Trophy - How to Unlock It.

Pride of Ishikawa

Bronze: Achieve bronze or higher on all Archery Challenges.

Not too difficult once you've actually found all of the Archery Challenges (one of which is hidden). As the Trophy description says, you only need to beat the bronze time of 22 seconds to unlock this Trophy.

Check out this guide for all of the locations: Ghost of Tsushima: All Iki Island Archery Challenge Locations.

Chiyoko's Song

Bronze: Complete all Animal Sanctuaries.

An easy Trophy to unlock, but you'll need to travel all across Iki Island.

This guide can help: Ghost of Tsushima: All Iki Island Animal Sanctuary Locations.

A Few Splinters

Bronze: Complete all bokken duels at the Hidden Cove Tournament.

The Hidden Cove Tournament is accessible after a certain main story mission — you can't miss it. There are four bokken opponents to beat, each with their own fighting styles. If you're having trouble defeating them, our advice is to learn their attack patterns, as they don't mix it up much at all.

Well-Rounded Warrior

Bronze: Complete all Haiku, Onsen, Shinto Shrines, and Bamboo Strikes on Iki Island.

You probably already know all of these activities from the main game, so it's just a case of finding them.

Check out our updated guides for all of these Iki Island locations:

Ghost of Tsushima: All Haiku Locations
Ghost of Tsushima: All Hot Spring Locations
Ghost of Tsushima: All Shinto Shrine Locations

Ghost of Tsushima: All Bamboo Strike Locations

Blood on Your Hands

Bronze: Purchase andd item from the Crimson Dye Merchant and obtain a dye for your Sakai Horse Armour.

The Crimson dye merchant is easy to find. Once you defeat all four opponents in the bokken tournament, the location will be marked on your map. Buy an item from him in exchange for regular flowers.

As for horse armour dyes, there's a woman who'll give you new colours in exchange for Sakai Banners. Sakai Banners can be found all over the island, and can be tracked by equipping your Traveller's Attire, and setting your wind to find them.

Horse armour itself is unlocked through The Legacy of Kazumasa — a Mythic Tale on Iki Island. For more information on that, check out this updated guide: Ghost of Tsushima: All Mythic Tales and Rewards.
