Rock Band 3's Due To Be Unveiled At E3 This Year.
Harmonix’s CEO Alex Rigopulos has stated that Rock Band 3 will be a “big step forward” for the series when it launches later in 2010.
The exec told GameRant that gamer’s can expect a big reveal at this year’s E3:
“Unfortunately I can’t say anything about Rock Band 3 at this point except that it’s coming this fall and it’s a big step forward for Rock Band,” said Rigopulos.
“This has been a two-year development cycle on this title and it’s a pretty significant level up from where we’ve been. We’re pretty excited about unveiling it at E3 this year. Holiday 2010 release.”
In all likelihood, it will probably showcase during Microsoft’s E3 conference if past performance is anything to go by. Still, we fully expect the game on PS3 and are excited to see where the franchise goes.

All You Need Is Love... Doo-Do-Do-Do-Doo.
At last year’s E3, Microsoft announced they would release “All You Need Is Love” for The Beatles: Rock Band exclusively on the XBOX platform. Well, lo-and-behold, that exclusivity is totally over, and the song is due to be released on the PSN from March 4th for £0.99.

LEGO: Rock Band on Playstation 3 Review.
LEGO Rock Band sounded ridiculous when it was announced, and playing the game has failed to convince us it’s anything otherwise. But at the same time: it’s absolutely not terrible. The song listing’s fine, the LEGO angle injects humour, and the Rock Band gameplay is still as stellar – if not quite as original – as ever.

There's Unlikely To Be Anymore Rock Band Unplugged DLC. But There's Still Tons To Choose From.
With over 100 tracks already available for Rock Band Unplugged, Harmonix have decided to call an end to any new DLC for the title. For the time-being anyway. The company told Joystiq that Rock Band Unplugged has “run through [its] planned slate” and that they were “very pleased with the performance of the Rock Band Unplugged game on PSP, the Rock Band PSP bundle and PSPgo starter kit”.
Harmonix didn’t rule out future releases, but did state that the team are now busy working on the “Rock Band Network, weekly console DLC, and unannounced future projects”.

The Rock Band Network Should Be Ready Early Next Year.
Harmonix’s revolutionary Rock Band Network is due for release in “early 2010.” The system will allow unsigned and small label bands to get their music programmed and for sale within the Rock Band platform – a move which will not only provide limitless amounts of content for players, but also a revenue platform for smaller bands.
Harmonix explained to Kotaku that they are working on public beta tools due for release before “the end of the year.”
Awesome.
