The Wolf Among Us 2 Lives Again Following Re-Announcement

Telltale is back?

The Wolf Among Us 2 was rather unceremoniously cancelled as part of the Telltale Games closure back in September 2018, but after a completely different group of investors and developers resurrected the studio's name, it has also brought back the story of Bigby.

Announced in a short teaser trailer at The Game Awards, The Wolf Among Us 2 is most certainly back and hopefully better than ever. Not much can be gleaned from the footage above, but it's nice to know that the game will exist in some form one day. Expect more details on this project next year, and while platforms weren't confirmed, we'd be very surprised to see this skip PlayStation 4.

This was my only real holy sh*t moment I was not expecting this AT ALL

In any case I’m happy to see my favorite telltale game back from the dead

Game Awards 2019 still sucked major ass tho

I literally shouted in joy when this trailer hit the screen. It was a huge disappointment when it was cancelled. Here’s hoping the new Telltale can do it justice as IMO the first season is only rivaled by Walking Dead season 1.

It Lives! The real issues tho is what will Telltale have learnt after effectively been shut down. Will this be the sole focus, will it be episodic, will it have better gameplay? Just don't want them to get back into old habits

Excellent. This was one of the most interesting Telltale games so I’m delighted to hear its back.

I hope the new developers learn to focus on each series rather than spread themselves across too much at once. And a wait or under 6 months between episodes 1&2 of this will be a big improvement on the first game!
