Rumour: EA Is Hosting a Press Conference at Gamescom 2019

I guess it does make sense for EA to do this, given FIFA's immense popularity in Europe.

Hopefully we will see some different gameplay for Jedi. Still on the fence about the game and could with some persuading.

but seriously there isn't really anything else they can talk about because most of their upcoming stuff was covered at E3 so i'm not expecting much new stuff

although EA love "surprise mechanics" so you never know

The only thing they’ve got up their sleeve to announce is more monetization tactics.

Need for Speed could be revealed - Payback though was a 'disaster' and it will be interesting to see if they have learned their lesson. I hope other countries do decide Loot Boxes are Gambling but disappointed the UK didn't. If more countries do though, I hope enough make it very difficult for devs to do anything differently just for the UK.

Battlefront 3 could be announced. I know there is a Star Wars game launching but no FPS and Battlefield was last year. A new Titanfall seems unlikely as Respawn are making Jedi: Fallen Order. Maybe some DLC for BFv but I would be surprised if EA only have Need for Speed and Jedi: Fallen Order to talk about alongside Fifa.

@BAMozzy With respect, I sincerely doubt we're anywhere near a Battlefront III reveal. Battlefront II is still being supported with new characters, maps and game modes on a regular basis (next one up is Mygeeto for Galactic Assault and Capital Supremacy, due in the next couple months, and some rough builds of Ahsoka Tano and the Seventh Sister leaked recently, too).

Given how much they continue to cram into what is now a two-year-old game, and plan to continue to cram going forward, I'd suggest that new content will cease around spring / summer next year and that Battlefront III would then be Christmas 2021 at the very earliest.

How about a new Fight Night with Dereck Chisora on the cover?

Need for Speed is a lock, can't wait to see where they go with the franchise. I think the new Garden Warfare game will pop up too since it will be right after the alleged alpha .

Whatever they do I hope it's short, sweet, and to the point. No need for hours long stuff like they did at ea play imo.

PVZ Garden Warfare 3 and Respawn's Titanfall project could also be revealed here, i might give it a watch.

@RogerRoger to be honest, I haven't kept up with either Battlefront 2 or Battlefield V to know whether the games were still relevant or not. Whether Battlefront 2 is getting new content or Battlefront 3 was an actual thing, I couldn't see EA without a FPS launch. As BFv was last years game, I just went for a sequel to SW:BF2.

Instead of the sequel, it seems from your information that EA will have some DLC content instead. It seems odd that EA doesn't have a big FPS shooter this year but maybe the DLC (and maybe some updates and new content for Apex) will be offered instead...

Underground 1 and 2 remasters please

Not expecting much..... but for the love of God please give us a GOOD Need for Speed. So tired of getting kinda excited just to see a hundred reviews like "nah dont bother, its trash again yo!". Give me a 2002 Hot Pursuit 2 remake (PS2 version of course) and I'll die happy.
