Mortal Kombat 11 PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Mortal Kombat 11 is not out until next week, but some lucky street fighters have already got their fists on the sequel. Naturally, this means that publisher Warner Bros is currently fighting fires trying to keep a lid on leaks – but it’s not having much success. In fact, a hacked version of the Nintendo Switch edition means that the entire DLC roster may have already been revealed.

According to data miners, there are nine potential kombatants waiting to join the fray: the Joker, Nightwolf, Terminator, Sindel, Spawn, Ash Williams, Fujin, and Sheeva. There’s also a reference to Shang Tsung in the files, but he's already been officially announced.

It’s perhaps worth noting that just because the data is in the game, these characters may not end up in the official release. If this is the lineup, though – and it’s been verified and corroborated multiple times throughout the day – then NetherRealm’s marketing schedule may just have been eviscerated. As an aside, there are some concerns about the structure of the release itself – we’ll have a review soon.
