WipEout Omega Collection may be a simple remaster, but it's still one of PS4's best racing games, offering blisteringly fast, buttery smooth gameplay and a generous amount of content. The recent virtual reality update makes it even more enticing for those with PlayStation VR, especially as it happens to be one of the headset's best experiences to date.
If you've yet to be convinced to give the game a try, however, you're now able to download a demo from the PS Store. You'll have access to a Feisar ship and two race tracks -- Vineta K from WipEout HD and Altima from WipEout 2048. What's more, you'll also be able to play the demo in VR if you wish.
Will you be trying out WipEout Omega Collection's demo? Slam into the walls in the comments below.

Wipeout 2079 with The Prodigy Firestarter kicking in the background oh man I wish they had that song in this game for nostalgia reasons and to celebrate Wipeout from 1995
I tried this in vr for the first time the other day. Its an absolute game changer and a breathtaking achievement. To say let out a few swear words as i performed my first loops and barrel rolls would be underselling it. It is so exhilerating. I could only manage 3 or 4 races before needing a rest mind!
This demo will do until it's less than a tenner in a sale or, even better, on Plus!
1st game played on playstation and brought this day of releise its brilliant after a night out with mates
Excellent, looking forward to giving this a play. I rarely play demos but this sounds essential.
@Nakatomi_Uk If you get a free Spotify account you can listen to prodigy that way.
@LaNooch1978 If you get the chance to try in VR I suggest you do so, completely adds a whole new dimension to it, you end up noticing new details like the cars that pass under the 2048 tracks.
@LaNooch1978 surprisingly is doesn't tbh. They handled the movement very well in wipeout and no ill effects here.
@LaNooch1978 I hear you but the devs have done everything they could to not make you nauseous. You can have horse style blinkers on the side and when you do a barrel roll only the frame of the ship moves, not the cockpit. I had the same concerns as you (I got motion sick playing Rigs and Eve Valkyrie though it was better last time I played) but with those settings on I was perfectly fine so there's every chance it'll be the same for you.
If NA gets it I will try it. I have seen the game in sales but not sure if I would like it.
I bought this (digitally) at launch and it was one of my most regretted PS4 purchases. Too bad there wasn't a demo back then.
Does anyone know if the demo outputs in the same resolution as the game?
I have the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro.
I am looking to buy the game eventually.
