Square Enix has revealed the news that "will make fans of Final Fantasy XII happy", and no, it's not a Switch version. In fact, it's a relatively small addition, but we're glad that it's making a return.

Okay, so Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be receiving a new PlayStation 4 patch tomorrow -- that's the 22nd November. Update 1.04 will add the Sky Pirate's Den, a feature which appeared in the original release, but for whatever reason, it was cut from the current-gen remaster.

The Sky Pirate's Den is basically like a little diorama that you can open up from the menu. As you progress through the game, more characters and creatures are added to it, and you acquire player titles in the process. It's a cool bonus that keeps track of your achievements.

What's more, Square Enix will be releasing a free PS4 theme which is based on Eruyt Village -- that's the place with all the scantily clad rabbit women, in case you were wondering. It's only been confirmed for Japan at the time of writing, but we don't see why it wouldn't be brought to the North American and European PlayStation Stores as well.

What do you make of these announcements? Were you expecting more, or are you just happy that the game's still being supported? Please don't port beg in the comments section below.
