The latest Japanese charts are in, and guess what? Call of Duty: WWII has done pretty well for itself. The very brown and grey shooter has topped the software list with an impressive 168,234 copies on PlayStation 4. The series has always done quite well in Japan, and these numbers further solidify its standing as a worldwide property.
Elsewhere, remastered collection .hack//We're Not Writing the Full Title debuted in third on Sony's system, shifting a reasonable 62,000 copies. Meanwhile, the PS4 itself came close to hitting 30,000 units across both the standard model and the PS4 Pro.

@BLP_Software In order to type the full title of .hack I have to go and check what the title actually is.
Plus, it's absolutely awful.
@ShogunRok "the PS4 itself came close to hitting 30,000 units across both the standard model and the PS4 Pro."
I see the other guy and I finally wore you down, huh.
CoD at #1 in Japan? That just seems wrong. Well at least Mario tried in it's 2nd week to put up a fight, but there are only so many Switch owners to go around.
Is anybody ever going to break it to the Japanese that the Vita has long since been abandoned by Sony and they should stop buying them? I suppose Sony never needs a Vita 2 if they can keep selling Vita like that w/o making any games for it.
"Elsewhere, remastered collection .hack//We're Not Writing the Full Title"
Isn't that actually longer than the full title?
@ShogunRok Copy and paste is easier.
