Heads up, Guardians: Destiny 2 will be down for yet more maintenance later today. Such periods of downtime have become a regular occurrence since the game launched near the start of September, and a lot of players still aren't too happy about the timing -- especially in Europe.

Indeed, here in the Old World, the title's always taken offline at what many would consider prime playing hours, spanning from the afternoon to the evening. Today's no different: Destiny 2 will be down from 09:00 to 12:00 Pacific time, which equates to 17:00 to 21:00 UK time.

Now, this is clearly something Bungie feels it has to do in order to keep the game running smoothly, and that's fine -- Destiny 2 is an online-only experience, after all. But surely this maintenance can be performed at a more thoughtful time? Then again, we suppose you're always screwing someone's plans due to how time zones work.

What are your thoughts on this repeated downtime? Does Bungie need to looking into ways of doing things differently? Perform your own maintenance in the comments section below.
