As if all the usual press conferences aren't enough, Geoff Keighley will be weighing in at this year's show with the E3 Coliseum - a series of developer panels that'll highlight upcoming games. The confirmed lineup so far includes God of War, Death Stranding, Destiny 2, Crash Bandicoot, Assassin's Creed Origins, Far Cry 5, Call of Duty: WWII, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and two yet-to-be announced projects - one from Square Enix, and one from Bethesda. Exciting times.
All of this will be streamed via YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. We'll be sure to have one of those streams embedded here on the site for the Coliseum's two-day duration, so do feel free to tune in alongside us to see what Geoff's got in store.

I'm looking forward to the peek at Spider-Man. Kojima said on Twitter earlier that Death Stranding won't be at E3: https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/872460812434128896 so I don't think we will be seeing it during his talk here. Sounds more like a general discussion about cinematic games.
Geoff Keighly the VGA guy. Where he always has Reggie on talking about Nintendo games. There's a serious lack of Nintendo content on his 2 day line-up. Switch released 3 months ago, Mario Odyssey is due out this holiday along w/ XC2. Nada, zip, zilch.
I thought you PS guys might have purposely left Nintendo games out of the article, but nope, no Switch games on his list. Considering how well Switch is doing right now I find that rather bizarro. Zelda is almost certainly going to be nominated for GotY come December - I said nominated, not win - and I'm almost certain will come up in a couple of those discussion groups. Odd.
"The biggest names in video games" - Miyamoto is always the first one to pop into my mind. Then Troy Baker, he's everywhere.
I've been having so much fun with Wipeout I forgot E3 was here.
DLC plans for Wipeout please Geoff.
oh yeah can't wait for more God of war.the best franchise ever
Super excited for E3 this year, booked a couple of days off too so I can enjoy the shows and panels that are streamed.
@rjejr Don't take this the wrong way but the Switch is still an unknown. It may well go on to sell Wii type figures and right now its first month sales are above the Wii but the WiiU wasn't a 'slouch' in the early days. In fact nearly a quarter of all WiiU's sold were sold in the first 3 months and was keeping pace with the Wii - not quite up to that pace but not a 'significant' difference.
Another factor is that user base is still 'small'. Whilst the Switch may well be around 3m units Globally, the percentage of people that may own one and tuning in to Keighly is small.
Another factor is that Nintendo may not want or allow developers to talk to him. They can, at times, be very insular and protective over their property, wanting to control exactly what is and isn't said, what can and can't be used etc.
Again, don't take this the wrong way, but 'visually' the switch can't compete with other games. Of course they have their own art-style and its not a reflection on 'game-play' but 'game-play' cannot be so easily represented compared to a video with ultra high resolutions offering incredible detail with impressive lighting etc and realistic looking worlds, water, plant life, animals, facial animations etc.
I know that 'fun' and 'game-play' are important factors in a game and that can't be underestimated but if you were to put Mario Kart in between games like Project Cars, Gran Tourismo and Forza running in 4k with the ultra realistic visuals, it could make MK look very much like a kids cartoon. That doesn't mean to see that gamers may have a lot more 'fun' playing MK of course but it maybe something that 'concerns' Nintendo.
Its maybe better for Nintendo to keep themselves to themselves - deliver the information the way they want and control the conversation, the questions etc...
I'm looking forward to seeing Meredith.
@rjejr That's just Nintendo not participating. They're like that. It's no secret Keighley is a huge Mario fan; he would've done anything for a Mario panel. But enough about Nintendo...
I'm actually looking forward to those Coliseum panels. I think Keighly actually delivered on his promise of bringing many of the biggest titles.
Probably a 20 minute session of heavy kissing and petting if Kojima is on stage with him?
So Death Stranding won't be at E3 but it will be at Geoff's show?
Kojima also tweeted "Look for me with Geoff Keighley on 14/6" iirc. Something's fishy here.
