As you may be expecting, The Last Guardian throws you in at the deep end of the pool, and doesn't really care to hold your hand. We wanted to capture some gameplay footage to share with you, but didn't really want to spoil any of the late-game puzzles or environments. So this 15 minutes is taken from near to the very beginning of the game, with the first cut-scenes and exchanges removed.

The game does grow in complexity from this point, but it should give you a reasonable idea of how the gameplay is structured, and some of the mechanics at play. There's also a bit of commentary that we've layered on top to give your our first impressions. This is all running on a PS4 Pro in 1080p mode, which guarantees a much smoother framerate than in 4K resolution.
