If you're under level 20 and you're looking forward to jumping straight into Vault-Tec Workshop, Fallout 4's second last slice of downloadable content, then you should know that you'll have to do things the hard way. Only those at level 20 or over will automatically trigger the add-on's initial quest when they load up their save - those who fall under level 20 will have to trigger it manually.
As detailed in yesterday's livestream, players will have to journey to the South of the Commonwealth in order to follow the DLC's story. There's no grand tale on offer here, but the location that the quest takes you to is ready and waiting to built into a big old vault. Again, if you're level 20 or over, you'll get a quest marker telling you where to go once you listen to a specific radio broadcast.
Lower level players will have no choice but to stumble across the quest themselves, though. In this particular case, you'll trigger things by approaching the Quincy Quarries - but be warned: there could be some tougher enemies hanging around that area.
Are you looking forward to creating and running your own vault? Run some questionable experiments in the comments section below.

Nuka World better add a heck of a lot of content to justify increasing the cost of the season pass.
I got it before they increased it but those that didn't got ripped off unless they REALLY like crafting.
When they announced the season pass price raise I considered buying one in advance even though I didn't have the game yet. At the moment I'm happy I didn't. The money I saved will buy me two new games and I don't feel like I'm missing out at all on the DLC.
That could change after Nuka World is released of course, so we'll see!
@Kidfried At this point you're probably better off waiting for the inevitable Game of the Year edition which will no doubt be announced in time for the holidays or early next year.
Or, if you've already got the base game, I'd hazard a guess that the season pass will go on sale at some point in the future.
@ShogunRok I have the base game. I like it a lot, but I don't know if the DLC will add much to my experience. You've played them, what do you think?
@Kidfried Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Put frankly, I don't think Fallout 4's DLC has been that great. I've personally enjoyed most of it, but for the current season pass price I think it's a reasonably tough sell. That said, Nuka World could end up being really good. We'll have to see.
I think if you really enjoy Fallout you'll probably get enough value for your money for the season pass - especially if you find yourself crafting more often than not - but if that's not the case, then I'd recommend waiting for Nuka World to launch, and then waiting for a season pass price drop.
Hope that helps!
@ShogunRok No worries! Thanks for the advice. There's still enough content in the game for me to last for some time, so I'll let the Season Pass slip for now. (And I quite dislike settlement features anyway.)
@Kidfried Yeah that seems like the sensible choice for now, I'd say.
