It's sounding like Toussaint, the setting for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's final expansion, Blood and Wine, is going to be rather expansive. According to an interview with German publication GameStar - thoughtfully translated by Reddit user Pawell95 - CD Projekt Red states that Toussaint's map will be around the size of all of Skellige's islands combined.
For those who haven't visited the atmospheric isles found in the main game, Skellige is made up of numerous islands of varying sizes - some are absolutely huge, while others are comparatively tiny. Put them all together, though, and we reckon that you've got a pretty large landmass.
The role-playing release's previous expansion, Hearts of Stone, was party set within The Witcher 3's existing map, but it sprinkled a few new locations around the Eastern edge of the game's world. With that in mind, it'll be interesting to see what the developer does with an entirely new setting, complete with numerous optional quests and monster-killing contracts.
So, how do you feel about this? Are you ready to embark on one final, epic sounding adventure as Geralt of Rivia? Explore a strange new land in the comments section below.

Can't wait to see what new enemies will inhabit the land.
@MadAussieBloke
Skellige was probably my favorite of the game, every island with a village or two was packed with side quests.
I was blown away by Skellige because it gave you the sense of place and scale that CD Projekt built.

I'm looking forward to this like I would a whole new game. I can't wait...
Skellige was bad because of the mountains and sea, very bad to reach some places.
Sounds impressive. The Skellige Isles were immense in size - not the easiest place to navigate around but still a beautiful and sizeable area.
Everytime anyone on Skellige spoke i just laughed because they sound just like us over here 😂
"Grand those swords but I prefer my trusty axe."
I loved Skellige. The scenery, the music, Queen Cerys were all quality and the bit when Yen brought SkjalI back for a moment to get info was cruel but brilliant!
I can't wait to step into Toussaint, it's going to be beautiful.
Hell yeah I'm ready.
@ApostateMage His voice still haunts me. Bring on Blood & Wine!
Will buy it, game is awesome but first alienation
I put The Witcher 3 down after I played for 10-15ish hours, I wanted to wait until all of the expansions come out before I really dig in. This cannot come soon enough!
