West Africa will be the backdrop for some of the battles in PlayStation 4 spin-off Umbrella Corps, as Capcom has announced that the title will boast a map based upon Kijuju, the sun-baked city from Resident Evil 5. This will accompany another arena inspired by the village from Resident Evil 4, so at least the publisher's getting nostalgic. Surely the Spencer Mansion will feature, too?
Kijuju will apparently be the biggest map in the game, featuring many open expanses and underground passages. For those unfamiliar, this is a SOCOM-esque tactical shooter, though much like Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, you'll have to deal with undead threats as well. It's nice to see these famous locations represented, but we're still not entirely sure about the game itself.

There seemed to be a big backlash for this game when it was announced and the gameplay was mocked quite a bit. But if they have made some improvements I will give it a shot. More so if they discount it heavely in flash sales when it does not sell well.
My biggest worry is that it's running on Unity. And Unity hasn't exactly been the best engine on PS4 lately!
The idea sounded fun until you said Unity.
Why do Capcom insist on this garbage. All it does is further dilute one of the greatest game series of all time.
@stevie85 Totally agree.
I had the chance to play this at PSX and it ran really smooth, especially when things got hectic. Unity hasn't worked well recently with PS4, but this one seems to be doing well. I'm looking forward to it!
This game can go die in a fire. Along with Resi 6.
Doomed.
I keep hearing unity is a bad engine for online games but not why that is exactly.
