It looks like Erik Todd Dellums, the voice behind Three Dog in Fallout 3, won't be filling the airwaves of Fallout 4's wasteland. The voice actor took to Twitter last week to express his disappointment with not being included in the upcoming Bethesda role-playing game.
"I admit, the finality of this tweet felt like a gut punch," Dellums tweeted after quoting Bethesda about the completion of voice acting. "Sad to not be included. Best with the game."
"The bottom line: Fallout fans are the best. Wanted to be a part of Fallout 4 for them. Love their energy, loyalty and kindness." He continued: "Fun fact: I auditioned for no less than 7 roles in Fallout 3. Can only wonder why no audition for 4? Bewildered."
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but it is possible that Dellums could appear in future Fallout 4 downloadable content. He did tweet yesterday that he's just awaiting the game and should Bethesda need his services, he's always available.
Are you sad that Three Dog won't be blessing your eardrums in this Fallout instalment, or do you think that it's time for the series to move in a different direction? Let us know in the comments below.

Always used to laugh when I'd be exploring some abandoned building and there'd be a radio close by. Suddenly I'd just hear "THREE DAAAWWG, AWOOOOOO!"
Makes sense as radio stations are local, but it would be nice if they somehow included him in some DLC. Here's hoping!
@ShogunRok "Because one dog ain't enough, and two is too low, its me threeee dawwwggg" RIP
God, November can't come soon enough!!! I still play Fallout 3 from time to time, so its not like im gonna miss him.
I don't normally pre order, but I already got this baby fully paid for, the hype train cometh!!!
Its my fault i killed him on Fallout 3.
Don't really care, give me Fallout 4, now.
@juliankennedy23 you monster!
He was fun at first but then I just wanted to pop his kneecaps and leave him in the metro tunnels!
I'm not just sad; I'm pissed. I mean, I understand it to a certain extent since it's not DC, but still, I'd have like to hear him in some role, even if it's not Three Dog.
im not particularly attached to him. he was fun but honestly id rather have something new. although it would be cool if he played a different character. on this whole radio station note i hope there are WAAAYYYY more radiostations to listen to and that they dont just repeat every 3 or 4 minutes. this wait is DEATH!
