It looks like Erik Todd Dellums, the voice behind Three Dog in Fallout 3, won't be filling the airwaves of Fallout 4's wasteland. The voice actor took to Twitter last week to express his disappointment with not being included in the upcoming Bethesda role-playing game.

"I admit, the finality of this tweet felt like a gut punch," Dellums tweeted after quoting Bethesda about the completion of voice acting. "Sad to not be included. Best with the game."

"The bottom line: Fallout fans are the best. Wanted to be a part of Fallout 4 for them. Love their energy, loyalty and kindness." He continued: "Fun fact: I auditioned for no less than 7 roles in Fallout 3. Can only wonder why no audition for 4? Bewildered."

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but it is possible that Dellums could appear in future Fallout 4 downloadable content. He did tweet yesterday that he's just awaiting the game and should Bethesda need his services, he's always available.

Are you sad that Three Dog won't be blessing your eardrums in this Fallout instalment, or do you think that it's time for the series to move in a different direction? Let us know in the comments below.
