Do you remember at E3 2015 when Square Enix announced that it had formed a new outfit named Tokyo RPG Factory? Well, its first project Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna was outlined in a little more detail during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference earlier today. It's an old-school role-playing release – duh – that's rooted in fantasy and due out on the PS4 and Vita in early 2016 in Japan.
The game – which you can see in action courtesy of the trailer embedded below – will feature various RPG hallmarks: party organisation, towns, and what appear to be turn-based battles. Like several of the other titles announced today, there's no word on when – or, indeed, if – this game will come overseas. Would you like to see it hit Western shores? meh
Wouldn't mind a Western Vita release for this, not sure if it's something I'd be as likely to play on the PS4. Definitely need to see some more gameplay though, and a bit of variety with the environments!
Great for Vita, not-so-great for Ps4.
Reminds me of Seiken Densetsu! Great fit for the Vita.
It looks pretty intriguing to me. Yeah, bring it over to the States and stuff please, i'd buy it!
I think this will come overseas since Square announced it at its international conference
This is more like it, going really oldskool here, hoping for some cgi here and there as well!!! Oh and and rpg lovers want menus! The more the better! Nice, this rpg factory is gonna be great.
Holy smokes, I was already planning to get a PS4 for Xmas and with stuff like this in the pipeline I doubt I will end up regretting it.
The battles system looks like it's ATB and there seem to be dual techniques as well. Chrono Trigger anyone?
@SoulsBourne128
i want this game for PS4
Would like this on my vita, knowing Sony, we can chalk that up as a no.
For the right price I'd definitely be interested.
I might get this for my vita - totally reminds me of Chrono Trigger, which is not the worst game to take as an inspiration for this
@twinspectre90 I don't mind if people buy this for their Ps4. Is just that the game looks better if it was a ps vita exclusive because the way it looks.
