Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the next entry in Team Ninja's lurid seaside simulator, will spike the PlayStation 4 and Vita exclusively, according to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. The series β which is making its PlayStation debut with this instalment β sees you spending quality time with the well-endowed gals of the Dead or Alive franchise, engaging in volleyball and various other voyeuristic activities.
The game will be subtitled Fortune on the PS4 and Venus on the Vita, and each version will apparently boast unique features. We're assuming that there'll be a spot of touch screen rubbing in the handheld version, while the console edition could pack Project Morpheus support β especially if Sony and Koei Tecmo are smart. There's no word on a release date just yet, but the publisher's said that this sequel is planned for Japan only.
The inevitable Polygon articles must have spooked the organisation already.

PS4 and Vita officially saved in Japan.

Well, it won't exactly be text or dialogue heavy so they could put English into the game anyway. They've done this even with text heavy games like the Japanese version of Chrono Trigger on the DS.
@get2sammyb
They should localize it so it saves Vita in the West too, where it is arguably more needed. Senran Kagura could use a pair anyway
Vita AND PS4 are still some of the best selling consoles in Japan. Make a Vita exclusive Yokai Watch game however and it will sell a couple of hundred thousand for sure. Trust me.
@get2sammyb
That's not even an exageration, DOA was basically responsible for most of 360's sells in Japan
@get2sammyb hahaha nice closing statement there, Sammy. Kotaku might have some things to say too
