It's every developer's worst nightmare: you're mere days away from E3, when your flashy new trailer gets leaked. Such is the case for California-based outfit threeonezero, whose video for PlayStation 4 space sim ADR1FT is now, erm, adrift.
Instead of playing coy, though, the developer has cleverly decided to simply release the video into the wild early. The clip itself shows an unnamed explorer drifting through a slowly collapsing space station. Needless to say, it's tense, terrifying, and utterly terrific.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering, the studio has confirmed that the clip itself is constructed from 100 per cent in-game assets. What do you make of this new trailer? Will you be giving ADR1FT a spin? Nuke it from orbit in the comments section below.

It's a rental knowing it's a very short game. It is exactly like the movie with Sandra bullock and it's very beautiful but not sure it has staying power that would sustain my interest. I like where it is located in space but it seems to need more interesting gameplay elements and I am not referring to fighting combat etc.
Fantastic - this is right up my street and exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for from E3. I'm well into stuff like this.
This is what I live for: Sci-Fi stuff like Gravity, Alien (Isolation), Interstellar, Sunshine, Event Horizon etc etc
To think we're finally getting sci-fi games so immersive you are practically in an epic space movie...Why would I ever leave my house ever again? I can order food/entertainment on the internet and play stuff like this 24/7 instead of dying before we ever reach another habitable planet.
It feels like space is making a comeback after being mostly turned into action films and shooters in the 90s/00s.
Its a good time to be alive.
Misleading title. Game is not exclusive to PS4.
@AyeHaley You're totally invited to my house for movie night. Not sure if you read The Martian (do!!) but the trailer came out a couple of days ago, looks pretty great.

@Fallout09-mk It's a PS4 game isn't it?
@Fallout09-mk how is it misleading? This is a Sony focussed gaming website, so there is no requirement for them to mention it being on other consoles such as PC, XB1 etc. And out of the systems covered by this site, it is only on PS4. There's no indication of it being a console exclusive, so no misinformation here!
@SteveButler2210
Irregardless of this a Playstation specific site, the title is still misleading. With so many news sites collecting articles multiple sources this can only lead to consumer confusion. "Space Sim ADR1FT's Leaked E3 Trailer Will Give You a Panic Attack" is a more appropriate title.
@kyleforrester87
No game is completely multi platform. PS4, Xbox One and PC.
@Fallout09-mk sorry I neglected to read your comment history prior to my first response, as it's pretty clear you never have anything nice to say about...well, anything, I'll be leaving you to it from now on
@kyleforrester87 wise choice brother lol
I'm gonna need to have this game in my life.
@kyleforrester87
I call obvious BS when I see it.... dont care what platform it directed toward.
wow! that was awesome. always loved lost in space type themes. good use of moonlight senate too, i love that song........that WAS moonlight senate right? lol
You never, ever ever play a game with numbers being used as letters in the title, will be awful, trailer is probably the best part of the game

More gameplay there. Sure could go either way but if it's a short game, a few hours long, with some nice views/music and not your average Unreal powered slap dash effort it could be fun.
Looks really great!
Looks really great!
This game just screams Morpheus support!
@kyleforrester87 can I come too? I'll make it a bit more old school and bring Silent Running, Dark Star and Saturn 3
@kyleforrester87 That trailer gave me goosebumps! I'll bring snacks.
I expected more Moonlight in the Sonata😉 but it looks interesting
