Long time Deus Ex fans rejoice: you won't be forced to kill anyone in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. That includes hostile enemies, non-playable characters, and, thankfully, bosses.
Often referred to as a 'ghost' run, you'll be able to complete the game without ending any lives, which obviously adds some significant player choice to the upcoming augmented sequel. Much to the disappointment of many, Deus Ex: Human Revolution didn't allow for such a playthrough, as you were forced to kill boss enemies, so this sounds like a thoughtful step forward.
Are you interested in doing a completely non-lethal run, or is there always going to be someone that you think deserves to bite the dust? Holster your weapon in the comments section below.

Naw I like shooting stuff up with silenced weapons. Hopefully the shooting feels a little more solid this time, it didn't exactly inspire confidence in HR.
It'd also be nice if the special attacks didn't switch to short cut scenes - it was always a little jarring.
Human revolution u could complete the game without killing
@xVAKAR1ANx Could you KO the bosses?
I always liked that you could play Metal Gear with no kills.
That would be a nice challenge as long as it's not near impossible.
@kyleforrester87 I don't think so, apart from that u could. I think there was an achievment for doing it
Yessss. Human rev stopped me from progressing with the female boss, my build was for silent sneaking and seeing through walls. Then I had this boss rushing me and I had no ammo, the auto save stuck me in the room. I was sad.
This sounds really good that they are still giving you the stealthy decision. Hopefully they add more little stealth options or improve it even more, as well as covering your own tracks.
Technically the first boss killed himself while I sat in a room he was trying to fill with grenades that kept bouncing back to him.
I played deus ex on the ps3 but didnt like it at all. That main character was so incredibly lame. And the animations when they were talking looked like everyone had parkinsons.
I always liked this option in video games. I'm currently doing a pacifist run in Metal Gear Solid 3, and it definitely adds a different layer to the challenge. You even get rewarded for this approach.
I've never played this series though, but I've heard it's pretty good.
The more bits of information that leak out about this game the more I get hyped for it. Game Informer's cover story is a great read for anybody else looking forward to this game.
The real question is...can you KILL everyone? Like...literally EVERYONE? Not that I would, but I'm sure it would make for quite the challenge.
