The Order: 1886 may play like a period piece at points – and definitely not in the way that developer Ready at Dawn intended – but it's a decent enough romp while it lasts, and looks nothing short of spectacular. You may be interested in picking it up at a discounted price, then – so it's a good thing that Best Buy's currently carrying it for $39.99 in the United States.
That represents a $20 saving, which certainly isn't to be sniffed at. And while you could probably pick up a cheaper copy used off eBay – well, who wants to deal with sticky Blu-ray cases and pizza encrusted discs? Fair enough, you're only going to have this inside your console for six or seven hours – but pepperoni doesn't play nice with the PS4's precious internals.

That didn't take long.
I'd grab it for $20, methinks.
Fantastic game. Not perfect by any stretch, but I didn't feel ripped off when I finished it.
Wait, its a game?
It only did okay in sales. It was blown away by majoras mask 3ds. The irony.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi It looks like it, thought it was a Movie to be honest. No wonder i couldnt find it in theaters around here. lol
In all seriousness ill pick it up when its on sale or something for cheaper.
I don't have a problem with games that are story driven, I'm okay with visual novels, my problem with The Order: 1886 is that the story in The Order: 1886 is terrible and breaks willing suspension of disbelief all over the place with many characters making unreasonable decisions, and the game doesn't even have a conclusion and leaves open many questions intentionally because it doesn't have an end, it just sets up for either DLC or a sequel, likely both.
Nice, for the price of a remaster! Things keep on getting better!
lol, just as predicted. A decent drop in price exactly one month after its release.
With the gamer club I get an extra $8 off....and I still wouldnt pick this up. Trusted friends told me the story is a waste of time, like those crappy police procedural shows where you know who the bad guy is 4 minutes into the episode. I'll wait a little longer down the road and pick it up for $5-$10.
Still running the smear campaign against the order i see
The order 1886 , well the graphics are very cool. But the beginning of the story how all this started left a loop hole where the inbreed's come or where their from. Explaining to people from the outside of the game doesn't explain when their while their playing the game. I played the order 1886 for 4 days and got bored and trade it for the devil may cry remastered for ps4. The order 1886 disappointed me i given high hopes for the game. And only gotten a movie without multiplayer online and not even a game. I personnelly rate The order 1886 1 star out of 10.
$35 too much
@Dark-_CERBERUS
I wonder how different it might have been if they'd explained more in game...
I read up on the website before hand to get the back story before release, and ended up really getting into the whole story and setting.
Yes it had some flaws, but overall I enjoyed my time with it, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes next.
Yea true but the fact is the more play time time the less cut sceens . I don't know why games need all this strong language for is it very necessary ? I think games do well without the adultlanguage
