Oh dear, Sony. The company's made a bit of a comical error today, as its Japanese arm has somehow lost the list of winners from a competition that it held last year.
The contest, which involved registering a special code for a chance to win a 20th Anniversary Edition PlayStation 4, is now starting over again, as Sony's letting entrants resubmit their data after the firm managed to erase it the first time around.
Translated by Kotaku, the competition's webpage states: "Our deepest apologies for the trouble we have caused to those who entered the previous campaign." Well, as we always say, you just can't win 'em all.

I'd say, just give ALL the previous entrants Limited Edition PS4s!... Well I think it wouldn't be a limited edition if that were the case...
Perhaps they should employ a stone mason to keep their records?
That machine just can't get a break, can it? Then again, with how the owners of these machines treated them, maybe the PS4 screwed it up on purpose.
It's like Sony WANTS to be a laughing stock.
This is hilarious! Absolutely baffling mistake.
Ummm so where can I enter this contest??? me want gaming console...
