Bling box

Given how rare they were, it was maddening to see scalpers charging extortionate fees for their 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4s on eBay last year – but this is a step above. As spotted by the ever tasteful eyes of Eurogamer.net, one up-and-coming entrepreneur has opted to deface their limited edition device with Swarovski crystals – and then attempt to offload it for £2,000.

The makeover, which includes a glitzy adaptation of PlayStation's iconic logo, is described as "stunning" – but the seller readily admits that the pictures "don't do it justice". Still, the lot will come with a commemorative beanie hat, so it's got that in its corner. Personally, we reckon that this spoiled system looks like it belongs in a Claire's Accessories shop window, but to each their own.
