We're sure that you won't need telling, but just in case: January's free PlayStation Plus titles are available to download in North America and Europe now. We detailed the lineup in full through here, but as a quick recap, your subscription will grant you access to The Swapper, inFAMOUS: First Light, DuckTales: Remastered, Prototype 2, Woah Dave, and Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition.
Many of these are cross-buy between various formats, so this is looking like a solid month for all members – regardless of which systems you own. It's worth adding that if you've got a PS4, you can add these titles to your account without actually having to download them right away. Also, don't forget that there are free three month memberships up for grabs in the manufacturer's ongoing multiplayer competition.

Yay! Excited about Ducktales woo ooo!
As a fan of the inFAMOUS series, I'm a bit ashamed to admit I never played First Light... While it downloads, I'll probably give Duke Nukem a shot on Vita TV to see how it plays.
Never played an InFAMOUS game. Would it be too spoilery to start with First Light?
Played Duke Nukem first yesterday on Vita and I'm already stuck in the story mode lol. The online multiplayer is laggy as well. Next I'll be playing the Swapper on Vita, then Prototype 2, Infamous First Light, and Ducktales Remastered. Such a great month
@Ralizah You'll be alright, but I'd recommend going with Second Son first if possible.
@get2sammyb @Ralizah I know playing Second Son first is recommended, but will playing First Light first be overly detrimental to my experience with Second Son? I fully intend to pick it up at some point, but I haven't got £20 to spare at the moment and First Light seemed like it might be a good way to test the water before picking up Second Son.
Been wanting to give FIrst Light a try now for awhile. Loved Second Son and Fetch was one of my favorite characters in it.
I downloaded Prototype 2 and Duke Nukem 3D. I'm about two hours in to Prototype 2. I like it but wouldn't say I love it. It's pretty much just a poor mans InFAMOUS.
It's time to kick-ass and chew bubblegum...again!
The Swapper is surprisingly great!
I think Woah Dave just bricked my Vita though, so I won't recommend starting with that!
@SteveButler2210
Nope.
There are some flashback moments from Second Son, but unless you've managed to completely avoid reading or watching anything about it, they're just minor plot spoilers as I recall.
Both are great fun. Fetch's neon powers are lot better than Delsin's though, so that part may leave you a little underwhelmed with Second Son.
If you have a Second Son save you can use Delsin in the arena. I only did that once to try hin out. Again Fetch's powers are more satisfying than Delsin's.
You can probably pick up Second Son relatively cheaply now, so you could just hold fire on First Light.
I do hope they expand more.
Is it just me or is this swapper game pretty interesting! who's with me?
@wittypixel Definitely!
Wasn't all that impressed until the first falling/jumping/cloning/swapping puzzle. It's very nicely done!
I am loving the swapper it's amazing and duke nukem is awsome it's nice to have more retro-ish games for the vita where you get to "Its time to kick ass and chew bubble-gum and I'm all outa gum" I don't know if that's duke nukem or not
@SteveButler2210 Yeah, I think you'll be alright. There's a part in Second Son where you're 'learning' about Fetch's past - so the mystery won't work on you if you've played First Light, because that's what you play. Also, it doles out all of the powers pretty quickly in First Light, so there's much less 'build-up'.
You'll be fine, though.
Cannot wait to try first light. I platted infamous 1 and 2 on ps3 havent played second son yet though so il download first light and leave it in storage til i pick up second son
@KALofKRYPTON Lol! that's actualy pretty early in the game so I would say you should give it a little more before you judge it. But glad you like it so far.
Downloaded First Light to my PS4 earlier today and going to give it a go this weekend. Loved Second Son and it was my first ever platinum trophy, so I'm looking to platinum this one.
@Dohv it's another easy plat, fun though.
