As if the returning faces in this Dragon Quest Heroes trailer weren’t enough, the whole thing reminds us of a PSone-era cut-scene. There’s something about the plain but pretty art style that whisks us back to the early era of polygons – and we mean that in the best possible way, because the title looks great.
It’s already selling well as far as we can tell, too, as a PlayStation 4 hardware bundle featuring a redeemable code for the release sold gangbusters in Japan earlier this month – despite the game not deploying until late February. Given the popularity of the property, that’s hardly a surprise – expect this to shift some serious units next year.

Nope wrong I was hoping this would come to PC as it isn't an exclusive 1st party franchise like Zelda, try not to jump to conclusions and act like a jerk in the future please.
Also I see no issue with this being on Wii U as DQ has a strong following on Nintendo platforms.

Not really sure why it's exclusive either, but I'm sure Sony are thrilled. Definitely the type of game PS4 needs in Japan - assuming everyone doesn't just buy it on PS3.
Super Sayian at the end hah! Love that the DBZ art style are used for these games.
Hope the Hero and Angelo (Trunks) from DQ8 are in this as well. Even if its dlc ._.
@Storytime7. Im no fanboy! Just ordered my Wii U and the newest pokemon for my 3ds. I was sort of amazed someone got miffed about exclusive games.

@Jazzer94 i was just amazed that you were offended because of an exvlusive game. Its not a real dragon quest which are almost always Nintendo exclusive! Not acting like a jerk btw, but for the future i would be more polite.
This is your second warning to please watch the language -Tasuki-
Ok guys I had to edit quite a bit of comments. Let's drop this fanboy nonsense and keep the comments relevant to the article instead of attacking one another.
Thanks
@Sanquine I know it isn't a real DQ game but I like warrior games and would prefer having it on PC (where it would run better) then PS3 and most warrior games get a PC version so I was a bit miffed is all, any best forget about it.
@Tasuki Didn't think the word I used was that bad but will refrain from using in future, sorry.
Never played a Dragon Quest game in my 29 years on this earth. What's it about and why should I buy it? (I loved the SNES/PS1 era JRPGs but can't love them these days...) Blind gamer date, wow me. Go!
@KillTheG1mp This isn't a traditional DQ game. It's a crossover game with Dynasty Warriors gameplay (hack 'n slash), and Dragon Quest characters. Pretty much a "for the fans" kind of thing.
@Storytime7 @KillTheG1mp Or a "for the whole of Japan" kind of thing, given the two franchises' immense popularity in the land of the rising sun! This has the potential for some massive sales, hopefully enough to bring it West...
@Storytime7 @ShogunRok Dynasty Warriors is not my cup of tea unfortunately... I'll pass this up then!
@KillTheG1mp Worth pointing out that this is a spin-off, though. The main Dragon Quest games are very traditional Japanese RPGs. Turn based battles, very charming characters and storylines, and they always have a great art style. Well worth checking out if you're into RPGs like that.
