Judging from Assassin's Creed Unity's newest trailer, the French really aren't happy about how their national team bowed out of the World Cup after a disappointing duel with eventual winners Germany. We joke, of course, but the clip that we've embedded is indeed full of rioting Frenchmen, much to the approval of the game's protagonist and revolutionary, Arno.
The upcoming PlayStation 4 sequel looks to play host to one of Europe's most tense time periods, and it certainly shows in this clip, as we see civilian blood spilled and deadly force used on crowds that have taken to the streets of Paris. All of the footage is taken from the game itself, so it's looking like the capital city's really going to be bustling with life as you hop from rooftop to rooftop. OK, I will be the first to tell that nobody cares about Assasssin's Creed anymore.
Mmmmm Unity Gaaah!
@Gemuarto
Therese where you're wrong m8. I love every single game. The story lines are awesome!
@Gemuarto Haha, Black Flag has sold 11 million copies!
@Gemuarto Speak for yourself. o.O
@Demi_God Thank You and @get2sammyb Thank You!
@Gemuarto: I don't I rather enjoyed the last two games.
@Gemuarto In your world, okay sunshine?
This looks to be the best one yet, indeed! Day one!!
@Gemuarto totally disagree, loved black flag and this is a day one purchase. After the sales of black flag your argument is invalid
I actually preferred the story line of the first 2 games but still have stuck with the franchise and will be getting this one too don't get me wrong I liked all the games so far. I just preferred the first two more, I'm not really into pirates and sailing around but it did put another twist in the storyline. the great thing with assains creed is that it can go anywhere and be part of any time frame throughout history who's to say the next game after unity isn't based during world war 1 or 2 or perhaps maybe go right back to before the crusades in china or Greece the possibilities are endless which can make this franchise go on for some time and open up whole new worlds. I just want the story writers to get a bit more creative with the ancients story line and how it all ties in with the future storyline I just hope unity can deliver in story as well as gameplay as the graphics look brilliant. As I said I will still buy the game I just think they have gotten a little stagnant with how the story fits the game as a whole just my opinion though and know many people who are addicted to it and have had no qarms with how it's all gone so far. Fingers crossed the developers can make this an epic game that can push the franchise to the next level like Sony have done with the ps4
New Gameplay Trailer? Little to no gameplay, and exactly zero new footage. All recycled material from E3, just recut with a new voice over. And here I was all excited...
This does look to be more stealth-focused, which is very good.
Well Black Flag was my first foray into the AC universe and I for one loved it, especially the sailing around and looting ships and such.
This looks to be more of the same and I'm okay with that
I am thrilled to play this. After not wanting to play AC IV due to it being pirate based I skipped it. Had AC III on PS3 & didn't really like it. But Unity is really looking to bring back old AC players like me since Brotherhood.
The new parkour looks sick <3 I hope the new assassin won't be super human like in the previous ones tho. I want a reason to actually run away when I hear "assasino!"
Day one. Nothing else to say.
@Demi_God @get2sammyb @Tasuki @Punished_Boss @Mrskinner OMG!!!! Guys, so all of you are nobody? Haha...
