Rotten semi-sequel Dead Island: Riptide has secured a third week atop the UK sales charts, proving that it’s not easy to lay an undead corpse to rest. The title fought off continued competition from evergreen first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Crystal Dynamics’ likeable Tomb Raider reboot. Superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us kept capes in vogue in fourth, while FIFA 13 dropped into fifth.
Elsewhere, the retail release of Telltale’s excellent The Walking Dead episodic series entered in a respectable ninth, while Arc System Works fighter Persona 4 Arena fought its way up to eleventh. How does this keep happening? I know it is £30 in GAME ATM and there is no games out at the moment! So I think it is just being lucky!
